Greg Wann Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Great models and great comunication and service!! Thanks, Mike. It sounds like a Ebay feedback score.
Devilsnake98 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Sorry to say Greg, but 1 of the eleanor's is going under the knife haha. In addition to the eleanor's I got from you, I ordered a 67 coupe from jeff Ballard and will be making a 67 Eleanor coupe, modeled after my own 1:1 long term project. Just waiting on the coupe to come in then will be starting on that, that'll be 3 mustangs at once. Will update pics when I fix or replace my computer.
Greg Wann Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 OUCH!! That hurts. I'm sure it will be really cool.. I would like to see some pics too.
Sport Suburban Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Here is a shot of Gregs kit. This photo is missing the trim rings that He cast in resin also. Also Greg won't be offended if anyone cuts one up. Here is mine after I cut the roof off!!
Devilsnake98 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 I'd like show my eleanor coupe project but still waiting on the coupe to ship. Not good.
Len Woodruff Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) Also Greg won't be offended if anyone cuts one up. Here is mine after I cut the roof off!! How about a tutorial on converting Eleanor into the convertible? Edited January 9, 2012 by Len Woodruff
Devilsnake98 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 I'd also like to know how you created the trunk area, especially with the Shelby style spoiler and 1/4 panel extensions. Do you have any pics of the build before primer?
Sport Suburban Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 I don't want to derail this but since I started with a body from Greg. I cut the roof off all the way to the spoiler just infront of the upswing. Then I added a peice of flat styreen. This is the only pic of the plug before putty and carving the new trunk lines. This shot showes the putty being worked and the new trunk being roughed in.
Devilsnake98 Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 That seems way easier than I was thinking of doing, thank you for the info and the pictures.
Len Woodruff Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Raul what about using the deck lid from the AMT 66 hardtop? Would that work as well? Why don't you have Greg cast this & the roll bar?
martinfan5 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) I just picked up my body from Greg, I am very impressed with his work, I cant wait to get started on this project, and it was nice to sit an BS with for a few minutes as well. I will post a pic up soon Edited January 17, 2012 by martinfan5

Devilsnake98 Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 Hey Greg, just got my coupe conversion done to one of the Eleanor bodies I got from you, it's in filler primer. I have all the pics of the conversion in the 64 1/2- 73 cbp thread.

JamesW Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 There is one listed on emodelcars. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/auction/resin-1967-mustang-eleanor,name,575,auction_id,auction_details
martinfan5 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) There is one listed on emodelcars. http://www.modelcars...auction_details That Eleanor kit is from the Master Caster as we call him here, it is worth the money, I got one from Greg, you wont be disappointed at all I guess he has decided to keep making them, I know a while back he said he was done casting Eleanor, but I guess there is still a demand for him to keep casting it.
