krishna.iskandana Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Hi again guys, This time I will post an Italian race car converted to a street car. This is an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI from tamiya. I opted to build this as a street car but decided to keep the alfa romeo logo instead. Perhaps it is more likely a test car rather rather than a street car. The color is tamiya bright mica red and then clearcoated with mr hobby gloss clear. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth,Western Australia
Roncla Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I think test car would be the best description. Looks like a nice build
Brizio Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 It came out very nice! A friend of mine worked on those 1/1 cars, and a few times I went to look a them, impressive cars, that only the body shape remind the stock car, the rest is totally different.
Eric C Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Very nice. One of my favorite models. You've done a great job with it.
krishna.iskandana Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 Thanks for your kind appreciations guys, Regards Krishna Iskandana
cobraman Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Not my cup of tea but you did a beautiful job on it.
diymirage Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 ive actually helped put a few of these on the street looking just like that (apart form the one piece lift off front end) when i was a kid i worked at a place called scuderia christiano which specialized in turning street alfa into track racers looks good to me
surfjunke Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Beautiful build. Like the paint. That sure would be a blast to drive!
