Thanks man. This was probably one of my most serious builds at the time. I threw everything I could think of at it. I definitely was going for the slammed look though. Was trying to build it like some of the super pro cars that run at our local drags.

This build was done using a heavily modified 55 Chev Pro Sportsman chassis. About 75 percent of the cage is scratchbuilt, and ties into the front tube frame; which is made from K&S aluminum tubing. The front wheels are narrowed, and the rears are widened. The engine is mostly Pro Sportsman kit, with some pieces from the parts box.

Thanks Bob. I've wanted to build something for my Uncle Danny forever, and finally found all the right stuff in 09. Now I'm getting ready to build him a Pro Street version of his 1:1 Marina Blue 67 GTO 428 4spd. SUPER RARE, only year available as an option for that engine. Ought to be a good one.

Very nice build! I like these 1st Generation Firebirds, especially this '68 looks good. You did good job with this one, everything seems to fit as they do in real life. Especially I like the wheels, very good idea and Execution.

Here are a few of the wip pics I have of this build. They are kind of blurry, as I only had my old phone to use. I initially was going to have opening, hinged doors and trunk. It was my first attempt, and it didn't go well. So I got a new kit for the body and started over.
