Aaronw Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Neat idea, and great weathering. I doubt many would think of a VW microbus as an apocalypse cruiser, but they are very simple and rugged vehicles. There is a local event known as the Shasta Snow Trip. It usually sees a couple dozen pre-1968 VWs driving 500 miles of mostly unpaved mountain roads through Northern California.
