youpey Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Can anyone tell me if there are any differences with the following kits other than the box art? Meaning are they the same general model, but maybe different rims or misc bits included, or are they exactly the same and the only difference is the box art Model 1 Model 2 Model 3 Edited May 30, 2014 by youpey
Chuck Most Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) The Pro Modeler version on the bottom has printed wide whitewalls, and the other two do not- the whitewalls are provided as decals instead. Other than that, all three are the exact same kit. Oh, also-The PM version's instruction sheet is different- it has photos of the 1:1 car for various subassemblies to show how they are supposed to look. Edited May 30, 2014 by Chuck Most
Force Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Not exactly true,...yes all three are basically the same kits but the first kit can only be built stock with what's in the box. The Goodguys and Pro Modeler kits on the other hand can be built two ways, stock or street rod so they contains more parts. The recent chopped 48 Ford Coupe are also based on these kits with some different new parts. Edited May 30, 2014 by Force
