falcon65 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Thanks for the info. just looked at the link he has some awesome stuff. How would I get in contact with him?
freakshow12 Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 I think I have his e mail. I will pm you if I do still
mnwildpunk Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Looking great love the color and the black trim really makes it pop. The cobra motor looks amazing. One question are you going to put a shock tower brace under the hood?
mademan Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Excellent. Can't wait. Guess I will have to build something in secret... Lol can't show all my cards Mike. How is the cuda coming? I finished one while you were away Cuda went back into the box and haven't touched It in months. Havent actually worked on anything. Ive been home for a total of 16 days since mid June, so really no time to work on anything, model or 1:1.
freakshow12 Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 Well after a 14 hour work day I didn't feel like doing much but I did get all other suspension bits prepped for paint and modified as needed, smoothed the brake booster off the firewall and put in the hydroboost brake setup from a cobra, got 4 wheel disks put on it so now it's all blown apart for paint. Now the fun stuff can begin.
freakshow12 Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 Small update. Just a quick mockup with some interior and cage. Rear suspension is glued in at this point too
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 It has a lot of attitude from that angle. I like it.
freakshow12 Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 There is the chassis with the different and relocated trans mount and the subframe connectors I made. I was able to get the stance bang on from my first mockup. Took some work but it's there
microwheel Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 This is really turning out nice Fred, Like how you modified the trans mount and subframe.
tyrone Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Killer... clean... nice stance.... clean,.... love the drag radials... clean... your killing this fox body... clean......
dougwintz Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Looks nice. Like the way you carried through the color to the roll bar.
mademan Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Excellent build..... that exhaust though...... dang it looks good!
Maindrian Pace Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Super clean build Fred, I love the color combo, engine, tires, stance, really everything you've done with it. It's truly one of a kind, and it reminds me of back in the '90s when a lot of guys learned the hard way that you just don't mess with a Mustang that looks like that. -MJS
freakshow12 Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Thanks very much guys for the kind words. I hope to have more worthy updates in the coming days. Just been working on the small stuff. Not too picture worthy
