My first "on the bench" project on the forum ;)

Started with the Revell 41 Willys street rod.

The model is awesome but the wheels and wheel stance does not look that good in my opinion so i decided to lower the model and replace the wheels.

The initial idea was to paint the interior red and i did but it didn't look that good so i removed the paint and i need to respray.

The body is now painted with clear coat.

I removed the chrome from the original scoop because it looked awful and sprayed in body color.

Maybe I will use the Billet cleaners i bought.

Thanks guys, i prefer the scoop the most. The billets were delivered with paper for the filter look but it does not look that nice so i think i will use the scoop.

The chrome on the headlights and grill are bad also so i need to find a way to respray them both.

Looks awesome in black! Looks like a flawless finish.

Thanks :D

I painted the body black the first time, when done i thought it was the wrong color for this car so i removed the paint.

After a week doubts I painted it black again, and again i had doubts but after i applied the clear i was very happy with the result.

Fitting and see how it looks with the brakes and engine in it.

I messed up the chairs and some other interior parts with a new clear coat so I need to get the paint off before i can move on

The chassis is good as done, except for the exhausts. I decided to shorten them because i don't want too see the pipes

There will be steel end pipes from hobby design attached to the end.

The mufflers are not solid so i glued a piece of plastic in it, putty is now in and drying.

Making good progress with the interior, took me a lot of time because I painted this red first but i removed everything because i did not liked it and after applying this color i had issues with the clear.

But its good now
