  1. Very Nice!! Did you say this was the Airfix Kit? I have both the Airfix one and the Monogram one. Seeing yours makes me want to go and tackle mine!! Great Job and I really like the blue you picked! Steve
  2. Nice Job So Far!! I do like that color as well, can you share what it is? Based on the pics above, I'm about at the very same spot you are with the one that I'm building. And after going through the slide show on it it looks like we've had the same type of battles with this kit. I think this kit is like taking a belt test in karate!! In my opinion I love the car but the kit itself is not done well at all. Yet, as a model builder I feel compelled to build it just to say it can be done!! Maybe when I am finished, I'll post some pics of it. There should be a thread dedicated to just this kit so we can see everyone's attempt to do battle with it. Good job so far, can't wait to see it when it's finished! Steve
  3. Nice Car and Nice Build. So, I'm finally going to ask, on these type of cars, what purpose does that top wing/spoiler serve? I'm not familiar with this type of racing and I've always wondered. Thanks! Steve
  4. Wow, I like this car for it seems like all kinds of reason!! - Original - Awesome Eye Catching Paint Job - Great overall work and build - And it's just so BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH cool! - One last thing, it reminds me of one of Darrell Abbott's (Dimebag from Pantera) (RIP) Guitars that he used to play alot!!! - and on and on and on...... This car just got promoted to one of my favorite that I've seen on this forum! Great Job!
  5. Nice Build Jesse, Just curious, did you used to run/be a part of the San Diego Model Car Club that used to meet near Mira Mesa?
  6. Ha that's pretty funny, I recognized the Arkansas State Trooper car as soon as I saw it!! Good job! Haven't seen those guys in a while!
  7. That turned out really well!! That car and the decals/paint really go together. I like it when when I see cars that are the results of someone starting out with a "Vision". Truly you did here! Nice Car!
  8. Very nice, what paint did you use??
  9. Being a Razorback Fan myself, I must say that I like the build!! Very nice car, especially the License Plate!!! I'm working on a 64 myself. Anyway, I do have a question for you. Can you describe this "BMF before Paint" Method? Not sure I've heard of that but apparently it works pretty well based on the pics of your car! Nice Job! Steve
  10. Nice!! I have this kit as well as a few others. I'm hoping you post quite a bit because there are aspects about these kits that I'm not quite sure of, especially with this one. I never know how to smooth out and clean up the "metal" parts, especially the wheels. I'll be following this! No pressure of course!
  11. You know, I do like it!! I also like that green, what paint/color is that exactly? It looks really good on that car!
  12. Just curious, what did you use for the back fin/spoiler? Very Nice build!!!! Steve
  13. I really like this car, any chance you could get some closer shots??!! It deserves to get shown off some!!
  14. Hope I Like it?? I Love It! You have great timing posting this car because I just got mine in the mail the other day. I'm even more looking forward to building it now! Great Job!
  15. Oh Duh! Just saw your curbside comment!!! Still a nice car!
  16. Nice Build, I like the color of the car and the Decals! Looks Great!! Any chance you can show some pic with the body off? I'm just about to start this same kit and would like to see the chassis etc. Great Car and Thanks! Steve

    57 Vette

Nice Car from what I can see. I'm like a couple days work from finishing mine. Anyway that you can show a larger picture with the front flipped opened like you have it above? It's not obvious to me how all that connects. Great Build though!! Steve
  18. I really like your car!! Nice Build! Do you have any pics of the "Face"??!!! If so, please share!
  19. I do like Monzas and I really wish I could get a hold of a couple of those kits that I saw. When I was a kid, my dad had a 81 Monza and I liked that car even though it had a 4 Cylinder in it. I have a general question for the group here. Does anyone ever feel guilty about building "old" kits? I like the original review of the old kit in this post and I think he said he was going to build this kit. I have a old kits that I want to build myself but sometimes wonder if I shouldn't. They aren't in that great of shape so I don't mind. What do others think about building older kits?
  20. I think this is a pretty cool post. I like what you did with this truck, especially showing the before and after pics! Very Cool! The finished version turned out super nice! Great Job! Question : How did you disassemble it, specifically how did you get the previously glued parts apart? Steve
  21. I like your vision and the overall look and design that you put into your cars. This one included!
  22. This is an awesome car and the paint just glows!! Is that HOK? One of my favorite builds on this site that I have seen so far! If this was a Kit I would buy it in a second!! Great Job! Steve
  23. Awesome Car!! I really love this build! Great Job!
  24. Nice Car! How did putting the body over the firewall/chassis/interior go? Any advice on that you would like to share? I can't wait to put this kit together but that part seems difficult to me!! Good Job! Steve
  25. I really like this car alot!! Nice Job!
