  1. Hey guys. Its been a while since posting a build here. I didn't plan on ever buying a 1/12 nsx as the price are just way out. However this came up for a good price and i couldn't say no. It was a build kit but that's never a problem by me. I stripped the car and fortunately the owner before this only use 5 drops of glue on the whole car. the rest of the parts were just fitted together. The kit itself is a really good kit. Lots of details to it and nice features that make it stand out compared to other kits. As the build goes on I will keep you guys updated about the kit as well as the build. heres what it looked like when i got it. and what i plan to do (similar) yes my desk looked like a train wreck after it was stripped the interior had a terrible brown carpet in so i quickly changed it to black. interior panels and seats got a repaint
  2. Thanks guys!
  3. Thanks for all the responses! really happy with the outcome even though there are a few probs lol .
  4. Hey guys. Its been quite some times since I posted a build here. Well this is my first for 2014 that I completed. The transkit I got from Eightyone and the BRZ was found at a local LHS. I wasnt sure where this project would take me but I knew i wanted to put my all into it. Although the transkit is meant for an Aoshima kit, a few minor mods were needed to make it fit the Tamiya. Few issues that came up for me: When dropping the motor in I didnt test fit the hood again so it doesnt fit right and motor isnt centers as turbos are a bit big. list of mods: Eightyone rocket bunny kit chromed wheels custom green paint job carbon diffuser and lip Kiwami tyres added instead of ones provided racing seats added with Kevlar backing racing hardness and bar black flocking Kevlar door inserts carbon trim on the dash 2jz motor from tamiya supra carbon tappet cover twin turbo set up with custom manifold braided lines added scratch build dumpvalve and intake lowered suspension
