  1. God dang this is gonna be sick. I'm following this one
  2. That looks extreme. I like it a lot
  3. I regret to inform you that I don't have any engine or chassis pics. This was a build that I did when I didn't take any of those. I don't know why I didn't now that I think about it.
  4. Thanks Mickey1938. Its nothing really. The least I could do for the most awesome country in the world.
  5. That is too legit to quit. Your dash is awesome. I love the way the final build came out
  6. As a matter of fact there is, Its my car's name. Its printed just like that on my 97 formula firebird. Its misspelled because "phoenix" was already taken.
  7. Jacksonville.
  8. I started and finished this one before I was married and had any kids back in the day when I was still living in military housing. I was super limited on supplies. This was before the belair and the firebird I made. I bought an air brush from Harbor freight along with a compressor that was non adjustable. The fade away job was accidental but came out ok I guess. I made it for a guy who didn't know how to build models but received it as a gift from a friend back when he was young. He paid me 20 bones for the completed job...
  9. I just don't know how to add photos to a reply. What button do you press to add another attachment? This is like the first forum I've ever been actively involved in
  10. Thank you Slusher
  11. no replacement for displacement, I stick to my 97 Formula firebird. I support 'MERICA and the foundations that were laid here before gas started to get expensive
  12. That thing is too legit. I can't wait to see the finished product
  13. I was actually trying to go for that intially but then couldn't find a part in my spare parts that would duplicate the little lip spoiler that was used so i fabricated that one in the picture. Came out pretty decent though.
  14. I was wondering the same thing, thanks for asking that.
  15. not gonna lie man, that is looking good
  16. Hello Helix, The body color I used was duplicolor rattle can "classic green pearl" 'toyota color' from autozone item number "BTY1597". It just matches so well with my current firebird I actually have so I had to use it due to the lack of actual GM colors that didn't match the project. If you google search that part number it'll come up. I'm sorry one of your diggers was lost out there. I know what its like, when I was out there we also had a bird go down with some buddie's of mine. So glad you like the firebird.
  17. Thanks alot!
  18. thanks so much! thats really what I was going for on this one. Its pretty awesome to hear feedback considering no body I know understands how much detail and time goes into these.
  19. man oh man that paint is amazingness
  20. Thank you so much for the compliment. And I'd be more than happy to explain the roof. It is as follows: i first drilled multiple spots on the roof using a mini hand drill "pen vice" starting with the 4 corners and then sawed the roof off little by little using the mini atlas super saw. then I used tooth picks and measured them by eyeballing them in the middle and then sanding off the edges. after that I used some sort of metal looking paint to create the effect of metal tubing welded to the top and then glued them in there I also painted the glue to make it look like welds. other than that I think thats it. I would post more pics on here but I am very new to forums and dont know how to add more photos
  21. Why yes they do call me "Ozzy". Thanks for the gratitude regarding the service. I really appreciate the compliment. I dream of taking my cars to a show one day. I have yet to enter one. I really wanna attend NNL east in Charlotte. You should check out my other one with the belair. That was the one I made a year before this one. Kinda crappy but it was my skill level at the time. I'd like to think I improved.
  22. This belair took me a while to do back about 2 years ago but I am just now posting it. If anyone has any ways I could've made this better, please let me know. Its just a practice run for chopping stuff out and modding certain things. Plus, I didn't know what kind of plug wire to use and now I do so this plug wire that's in there currently, I don't use anymore.

  24. This firebird has been in the works for about a little over a year and finally got finished about two months ago after I came home from Afghanistan for deployment with the Marines. This one is dedicated to my soon to be born daughter. Hope y'all like it and I am open to constructive criticism and questions. By the way I am new to this website and would like to make new friends on here. Thank you.
