  1. Just saw this topic. I'm from Boonville, about 20 miles east of Evansville.
  2. I'm looking to convert a big rig chassis into a motorhome like the one below to pull my race trailer (Galaxie Limited tag along). What kit would you suggest based on the fact that this is my first big rig and I'll need to stretch the frame? Thanks for the help.
  3. I'm one of the few young(18) modelers out there and this is my first model build that I've really taken my time on and painted everything. I'm using the Monogram F-250 kit. The truck will have a detachable tow bed with a wheel lift that can be swapped for a pickup bed when it's used to pull the race trailer. So far I have the chassis and motor painted and glued.
  4. First off, really sorry if this is in the wrong spot! But to the point. I've recently decided to do some scratch building, but my local hobby shops have a very, very, very poor selection of styrene. Like 1 sheet of white and some random tubing. So my question is where is the best place to buy styrene sheets and tubing from? I really don't wanna pay $15 for shipping either! Thanks!
  5. So excited to see not one, but two Mustangs!!! I've wanted these exact body styles for a long time!!
  6. After many difficulties, I've decided to scrap the 4x4 conversion and turn it into a tow truck for use with "Taylor Classic Restorations", my future body shop diorama.
  7. So after looking at other ideas I've completely changed what I'm gonna do. I'm going to make a garage. "Taylor Classic Restorations" I'm gonna have one car "restored" for sale. One in primer in the paint booth. And the Mustang on a lift. Then I'm converting the F250 to a tow truck.
  8. I'm about to start work on my first diorama. I'm wanting to use an F250 with a trailer and a junker mustang. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe pulling the Stang out of the weeds and onto the trailer.
  9. Thanks for the help. I'll post pics soon
  10. I found an axle and some springs on an old junker car. Now to get them off...
  11. Thanks so much. This is the first model I've ever taken my time on and customized. I think using parts I have I may be able to convert it to 4 wheel drive with leaf springs in the front. What's the easiest way to strip chrome plating?
  12. Ive recently started work on a Revell 1/25 scale Ford F250. I've seen a little on this topic, but not what I'm looking for. Can someone please explain or give me ideas on how to put a lift kit on it? I want it to have a rougher look. Any help is appreciated.
