  1. Thanks alot. There are some imperfections in this one so it might get a do over.
  2. This is a replica of my uncle Dan's old 70 Camaro that he owned probably 30+ years ago. I am giving it to him in our family gift exchange since I drew his name. It is pretty much box stock with a few aftermarket goodies.
  3. This is one that I have been messing around with. It is Duplicolor Metal specks silver, with various nail polish colors, and some HOK kandy patterns. This is all I have got done on it before I put it back in the box.
  4. A lot of peeps just use it for LIL
  5. Need to get one bro. Since my computer has been down I haven't even been on LIL. Facebook is just so much easier I hate to say. And layitlow is so dead lately, Facebook is pretty booming! Thanks again for all the comps guys!
  6. Thanks! What's up HAK. U on the layitlow Facebook page?
  7. Thanks guys it really means a lot. A lot of talent on this site!
  8. Thanks! I think painting is my favorite part of the build!
  9. Apparently u can't say C.R.A.P??
  10. Thanks. I have built 2 of these 51's recently. 1 was a convertible and one a fleet line and both chassis were warped and didn't fit worth a ######!!
  11. Even worse, the fire wall and floor pans were painted identical to the car, all suspension is chromed and when I put it together the chassis was a nightmare, frame broke car sat crooked, got glue everywhere trying to make it work, and ended up scraping the OG chassis and hacked up a 49 Merc chassis to put under it, and the car went from turntable with mirrors under it to a curbside. Not happy about it.
  12. I did a couple patterns a little different the second time. Turned out better but each time I had about 3 hours in taping patterns and then about 6 hrs spent on painting the kandys and nail polish. Very time consuming.
  13. This is my 51 Chevy Lowrider. It is all done with House of Kolor kandy. I named it "Relapse" because the first time I painted it, I hate a fatal error when mixing the clear, and the clear wouldn't dry so I had to strip the paint off and completely redo it all. I am posting from my phone because my computer is down and I can't get the first picture to turn so sorry for that.
  14. Man, I haven't been to a show since I was a kid. Don't ever even know when or where they are. Just build for fun. Was it any good?? I would be up for going to some, just need to find out when they are.
  15. Thanks everyone.. This one was a lot of firsts for me.. First time doing a full panel paint job, and first time doing a felt "TINGOS" style interior. I am happy with how it turned out, and I am happy you all like it.. I know lowriders are not at a lot of peoples lists of favorites, but I have been hooked since I was a kid on the kandy paint schemes, hydraulics, and the large amount of chrome makes it rolling art for me! I love all customs though, got a 52 Chevy rat rod sitting in the garage.. It is a WIP though
  16. Got the deuce all finished finally. Not perfect but I think it turned out pretty good. Hit the switches!
  17. Bad ass!!! I would drive it for sure!! Stance is perfect. What are the wheels from??
  18. This thing is awesome!
  19. Thanks Bryan! I need some motivation. Going to a lowrider show Saturday so hopefully I will come back with some momentum.
  20. I got some of the hinges done.. rear tilt and trunk lid and doors are hinged, haven't messed with the front tilt or hood, and I am not sure how the hell I am going to hinge the roof yet. I will get more pics soon. I have just been really busy the last week.
  21. AMAZING attention to detail! Awesome scratch build!
