S.C.M.A MIDLANDS CHAPTER PRESENTS 7th Annual Model Contest and Mid Year Social July 9th 2016 Ball Park road Recreational Facility 432 Ball Park road Lexington SC 9:00am - 4:00 pm

I live in Hendersonville NC. and belong to the SCMA ( South Carolina Modelers Asso. ) Spartanburg Chapter about 40 minutes from me. the SCMA meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Masons Hot Rods and Hobby shop at 6:30 pm. would love to show ya round. the SCMA also puts on 4 shows a year one in Spartanburg in January, Simpsonville in may, Lexington in July and Charleston in Oct. we also have the ACME Southern nationals in November in Atlanta. the CKM show in Clemmons NC. there is also a swap meet each year out by Salisbury NC in February. Just a reminder. The 9th Annual Hope it don't snow show will be on the 16th of this month we have over 42 vendor tables filled with all your modeling needs from new kits to aftermarkets wares. we will have live 3D printing being done on site and pin-striping by Jeremy Kemp so make sure that if you want anything striped you bring it with you.. we will have many items on the raffle table food is available in the hotel and sources local. we have a make and take for the young future modelers and a photographer taking pictures for submission to Model Cars Magazine.. come out and spend some fun with the members of the SCMA . Mike the attendance is wonderful and we have had between 300 & 500 models on the tables sine the show has started 9 years ago..vendors always have a great time and a good sales day. hope you can make it..\ Tom

Happy New Year Gregg.... glad to hear the back surgery was a success. good to hear your able to also taking the magazine to the next level. if there is anything that i an do from the east coast let me know. again Happy new year, i know this year will bring its challenges and its rewards. You, Harry and Darryl put so much into making the magazine a success an i am glad you have given me an opportunity to be part of the Family. stay well and know you have a dedicated network of people that supports your efforts to bring the Model car hobby the best magazine on the market.
