  1. I bought the Miller kit at a show a few years back and was quite excited to get it, until recently I had not really looked at it too well and when I did, the decals where gone! The decals are what sold me on it to begin with, and the fact that I am a Datsun guy, so know I need to find me some spares.
  2. I once knew a guy that had an Isuzu Mikado with the right hand drive setup. It was pretty souped up and ran pretty good, no V8, strictly a four with side draft Mikuni carbs
  3. Nice build of a super rare kit! Would be nice if they bring it back
  4. I know lots of Diorama builders where bummed when those figures did not make production. I just like collecting model figures and I was bummed
  5. I know it has been covered in another thread, but, this Trans Am is the same car that was originally in the movie Corvette Summer
  6. The closest to stock is the Monogram Version of the Luv. Although it is in 1/24th, but, if you are not that concerned with scale, this would be great start for a stock version.
  7. That is so cool! A new '29! OK, who is going to cry about not getting a stock one? To them I say, too bad! And that 914 is a must!
  8. Nice mild Custom! I like it!
  9. I have always wanted those Pyro kits! Especially now that I know they come with figures!
  10. World's Fastest Indian
  11. That bad boy pops! Nice!!
  12. If you look at the evolution curve of Revell kits, you will notices that there are some serious differences in style and technique. They went from some seriously detailed, yet very finicky and poor fitting, mainly due to having everything open up. To some very simplistic kits that shared lots parts with other kits And then to some quite decent kits They started a detail comeback, but, some of the subjects where quite lackluster and rather unappealing And now some nice stuff, but, with questionable specs on some of them Unlike AMT or MPC, who kept a pretty linear style of design and kit execution, Revell has tried quite a few styles of kit production and no doubt some of them had to do with finances. Revell appears to have taken more risks on how their kits have been produced and some have been hits and some horrible misses. Myself, I am just glad they are still around and making kits. The very first kit I built as a child was a Revell kit, and overall, most of what I have built has been Revell. I have a soft spot for them and their kits. And, they started in California, and that means something to me!
  13. All correct on my posting!
  14. Ok, since I apparently posted cars from movies that have already been done, here are some that hopefully have not been posted yet.
  15. Indeed it is!
  16. 70Mach1 and Jantrix are correct! So, any guesses on the Mustang?
  17. That 70's Quiz!
  18. One of the best movies of all time! Move over Citizen Kane! Its Bachelor Party!
  19. Especially considering it is really this car from Corvette Summer! But honestly, as a kid, I did not have a clue! I just knew it was the same car Ponch had!
  20. You are all right! Nice!
  21. Well, an old member from our model club always said "if you can see it, paint it black" and hence, I do. His name is Alan Day and he used to build box art kits for Testors
  22. You are are pretty good! Here are some more
