    Tamiya did not fail at anything. This looks like a great kit and and it has enough opening stuff as it is. Opening parts, other than hoods, are a hold over from the past that in my opinion are totally unnecessary in today's kits. You want it to open? Get the xacto going.

    Very nice Anglia! You did a fantastic job with it. I have a couple of re-issues and one original issue. I think I might build the original since the tooling was new at the time.

    I'm slightly partial to the Bad Actor version only because that is the one that was available when I was a kid. But I do like the looks of the Quicksilver

    No, Tom West was not involved in this one. Hopefully I am ok saying who was consulted on it and it was Mark Johnson. The same MJ who has done all those super nice resin drag engines in 1/16th And yes, they should include them in every future release and also sell them as a parts pack set so we can fix all their older stuff!

    Well, I just proved that most folks around here will argue about anything, which almost makes most of this thread rather invalid. I say "Toy" and some pounce on it. Glad to see that shiny objects can still easily distract.
