  1. That is so cool! A new '29! OK, who is going to cry about not getting a stock one? To them I say, too bad! And that 914 is a must!
  2. Nice mild Custom! I like it!
  3. I have always wanted those Pyro kits! Especially now that I know they come with figures!
  4. World's Fastest Indian
  5. That bad boy pops! Nice!!
  6. If you look at the evolution curve of Revell kits, you will notices that there are some serious differences in style and technique. They went from some seriously detailed, yet very finicky and poor fitting, mainly due to having everything open up. To some very simplistic kits that shared lots parts with other kits And then to some quite decent kits They started a detail comeback, but, some of the subjects where quite lackluster and rather unappealing And now some nice stuff, but, with questionable specs on some of them Unlike AMT or MPC, who kept a pretty linear style of design and kit execution, Revell has tried quite a few styles of kit production and no doubt some of them had to do with finances. Revell appears to have taken more risks on how their kits have been produced and some have been hits and some horrible misses. Myself, I am just glad they are still around and making kits. The very first kit I built as a child was a Revell kit, and overall, most of what I have built has been Revell. I have a soft spot for them and their kits. And, they started in California, and that means something to me!
  7. All correct on my posting!
  8. Ok, since I apparently posted cars from movies that have already been done, here are some that hopefully have not been posted yet.
  9. Indeed it is!
  10. 70Mach1 and Jantrix are correct! So, any guesses on the Mustang?
  11. That 70's Quiz!
  12. One of the best movies of all time! Move over Citizen Kane! Its Bachelor Party!
  13. Especially considering it is really this car from Corvette Summer! But honestly, as a kid, I did not have a clue! I just knew it was the same car Ponch had!
  14. You are all right! Nice!
  15. Well, an old member from our model club always said "if you can see it, paint it black" and hence, I do. His name is Alan Day and he used to build box art kits for Testors
  16. You are are pretty good! Here are some more
  17. Definitely on the "Must Buy" list! Once again, Tamiya re-sets the bar
  18. I have one of those 71 Chevelle kits without the box. It came in a Daytona Transporter box and a decals that says Autorworld Grab Bag. It was not until I saw an original box that I figured out what all the weird parts where for! Would love to have them all!
  19. Some sharp shooting there, Buckaroo!
  20. Okie Dokie!
  21. That thing is awesome. Looks like the sledgehammer they intended to build. Can't wait to see what it does on the track. At least Nissan is willing to try something new
  22. So, $40 to 45 bucks for a body and some parts, plus, a donor kit for the remainder of the parts? Vs. a complete kit for maybe $35 that I can modify with a hobby saw and super glue, and a bit of filler. Yup, going to be cutting me up some kits!
