Tim... good Points all of them.. I am trying to get a NNL styled show going in My Area. I had One last year and the Next One is coming up on Oct 4th. I do give out Plaques for best adult Best Junior and Best Theme.. I do have an award for Best Motorcycle also. and Nest Diorama. I Know I am spreading the NNL Theme an extra Bit here. I also do a Blind fold Model event Mainly for the Kids In attendance. Which is fun to watch.. Had the fortunate to see Mark Gustavson do One at the NNL West. I then Have some Event organizer Picks. Outside of the Peoples Picks. they are Listed as WOW Factor. Looks fast standing still. and a Straightlinemodeler Pick. Now these are Not Heavily Judged Just something I saw as a fun way to Let people Know their Models were enough to Make an Impression On My eyes . If this is Not acceptable for a NNL styled show and I don't want to have a Judged show I am doing this for the Fun and Comraderie(sp) of an event. Maybe I need to change the Name .. to ??? MId-West Model show.

Well Gee I just re-watched the Movie.. and I am at a Miss In My memories recollection of the Movie... The Lady I was referring to drove the Vette.. It had been a Long time since I saw that Movie so I Made a Mistake.. NOw get off My Back.. geez.. we all Make Mistakes and then for someone to throw the Gauntlet down and make judgment about One without even Knowing who there are. Too Many Phobics here.

Brian... Thanks for Your Note.. although I am a CNC Machinist I am not an authority On Grizzly Machines . I have been to their showroom In Springfiled Mo. and Have tested Out the Machine in question that they have there, and was Impressed with what It could do. another One that I have good things about is SmittyBilt.. Duane drew of Arrowhead and Mark Smackle (sp) of MAS use these Machines and look what products they can Put out.. they Have Nothing But Prise for those Machines. Dwayne

Harry.. I am a CnC Operator of Lathes and Mills. Haas, Mori seki etc. Milltronics are some of the ones I run. I don't have One at Home, yet, but when I do I will Buy One of these. There are some Monthly Magazines that deal with the Home Machinist. I saw two at the Local bookstore Last night. check them Out for ideas and different companies.

I recollect seeing raw fiberglass to any color Paint and even primer.. Most were flat In color.. so anything goes...

I was there at the Heartland show and got Talk with Bob.. we met some time ago at the NNL In Portland and again for two straight years at the NNL west.. He grew up In the City Next to the one I grew up In California. Had a Great time talking and Kibitzing with Bob. He brought some Models from a few members from His club.. Two will be bringing home some extra Luggage for Bob to Carry. Hope it doesn't make his ride home to bad. Great Day..Nice to be a Part of the Modeling community that is as Kind and helpful and accomandating as we are.

I Build for me and Me only if I finish it and want to take it to a show/contest then thats ok.. I used to redline at the Last Moment to finish a Model for contest.. and I relaized the fun is In BS'ing and meetiong other modelers. and exchanging Ideas and Notions.. Buying selling at swaps interests me to No end..

I have been buying from Chuck Meir aka Altered states for many years and have had no reservations at anytime. I recently ordered the hydro kit (2) and some other parts and got them within two weeks time. down load the order form and go to it. you will be pleasantly surprised. Is that a SMBC body or did you alter the wheelbase Your self.. Looks good.. have a Fremont racing Body already for that car and the decals also..
