  3. Lets go ahead and update for April before i forget. Not much progress, built the front cross member/motor mount. Got the frame clean and filled and the cab and hood is sitting ok...well good enough for now.
  4. Nice plumbing Brian! Did you use styrene or solder?
  5. Im gonna try that Brian, my worry is i will have to space the drives because the tires are reall wide to begin with....definitely worth a try though!
  6. Ill post a pic of mine later, the kit comes with the hi miler 11x20's and they fit very loosely on the wheel, i tried some other tires in tje stash but nothing seems to fit nicely at all...
  7. Has anyone else noticed that the wheels and tires from the newly releases dm600 fit like a square peg in a round hole?

  20. Thanks for the kind words fellas. Sean- ill take one of hose jackets when they come in lol!
  21. I agree with the scratch building as a possible necessity, but during WW2, truck manufacturers were still building trucks, and they were sold to civilian Establishment's as long as it was to benefit the war effort.
  22. Thanks for the kind words fellas. Havent made much progress, alot of planning, gathering pics and studying going on right now, stuff i shoulda done waaaaaaay before starting but oh well. I lost my grandfather a little over a month ago and that has put a big damper on things as well, because he was such a huge influence in my trucking obsession. But im pushing forward now, or at least trying to make some sort of progress. I have added another kit to this builds arsenal.... A diamond reo, basically just for the frame as i gave up on converting the dm frame. Anyway heres a pic of the latest progress, scratch built rear suspension and a modified exhaust manifold to make the engine better resemble an END673.
  23. Aitm possibly, are you pooking for an l model?
