  11. The keys are a nice touch there Sam dials look great too
  12. That's cool I would like one of those for the shelf . More pics please Alain
  13. What I was trying to say was that the chrome fitting points on the reverse of the bumpers and the hood trim needed a bit of a sanding just to seat it down ready for paint. I do this so that once the body is painted the gaps for fittings will be slightly smaller . If its to tight the trim could rip the paint
  14. Frank you cant go far wrong with a Modelhaus kit . Ive just got my first (1958 Ford Fairlane) and it is very good. The body is cast very well with crisp detail and the resin is of an even thickness . There is some clean up needed. The fit is good with only a small amount of trimming and sanding needed . There is some very tiny pin holes in the body and seam lines but it didn't take long to sort those out . The chrome is very nice and fits very well after trimming . The vac formed glass fits well after trimming .
  15. Fantastic work . Those hood hinges are great . Keep it up your doing great
  16. That's just the coolest . Got to get me one of them The only thing that gives it away that its a model is your reflection in the front bumper.....! True craftmanship
  17. Thanks Dan I had seen those pics . When I did my Rubber Duck truck

  19. That's cool I cant wait to get my boy doing one .
  20. Thanks Terry It looks gold to me too but its hard to say for sure . Ive looked at pics of the surviving number 2 rig and it looks bronze with a brown chassis ?
  21. Well I know there is no poll on this but my vote would go for having that Hudson on the back . That is really cool Chuck
  22. Hi all Im about to start doing a Duel Peterbilt and I wanted to know if anyone out there would know what colour the cab and chassis was originally ment to be ? I know that there was 4 rigs used in the film but in some shots the chassis looks black and in others it looks brown . Im not sure if the cab was gold or bronze or just brown. Plus the front fenders should they be red to start with and wet sanded for a sun bleached look . Or where they Pink ? I have the dvd coming soon so Hopefully that should help but if anyone can shed any light on this I would be very greatfull Thanks Dave
