  3. Nice detail, looks alot better! I have got to get me one of those kits.....I remember building one when I was a kid, not sure what happended to it though...
  4. I like that one alot!!
  5. Yeah! I'm thinkin that'll look pretty sweet!
  6. Look kids, it's "Canadian Chopper"!! Lookin nice so far, what about gunmetal/dk silver for the frame?
  7. That is really nice!! You certainly live up to your billing of "The Corvette Guy" - very nice work, Izzy!!
  8. decals or dry-transfers....never had any luck with paint....
  9. Nice build!!
  10. Now that's something ya don't see everyday.... very nice work!! Speaking of old Monogram kits, how cool would it be to see the '30, '34, '36 Fords, the '40 Ford Pickup, the "Little Deuce" '32, ect with all the original/optional parts??
  11. Cool trick, great lookin' Bug!
  12. Nice!! Makes me want to toss a set of dog dish caps on mine!
  13. The under-car mufflers and exhaust pipes are new as well - thanx for the pix!! All the Cobra kits starting with the Essex Wire (CSX3009) kit have the Bluestreak big n little tires, with the last issue (builds a later version of CSX3009 as well as a version of CSX3008) not having "Goodyear" on the sidewalls. EDIT: Looking at all the pics closer, this is a good mix of both the S/C and the original street Cobra. It has both the single 4bbl intake and the "turkey roaster" from the S/C, as well as the two 4bbl from the street issue. Both sets of valve covers too! It also has both dash panels, One of which (has the glove box detail) hasn't been seen since the original street kit. The real gems on the chrome tree are the two ear knock-offs (which have the original "AC" logo on them) located between the two 4bbl carbs and smooth valve covers. I have got to get me one of these!!
  14. I have an HRM Ferrari 365 Daytona transkit, and it was really twisted! I currently have it stored with the Fujimi kit glass taped in the body, the kit's styrene hood taped to the body, and the kit's chassis plate snapped in place. For the most part, the body is now straight, so it will stay like this untill it gets built. All my kits are stored indoors, so excessive heat is not an issue.
  15. Nice paint - you're off to a great start!!
  16. I've seen late-model Chevy step side beds on '67-72 Chevy trucks, but your's is the first Ford I've seen done - looks cool!
  17. No prob Matt... If ya pick one up, could ya snap a couple pics of "what's in the box" to show the baldwin specific parts?
  18. Nice wheel choice, great color, and I'm diggin' the tail light treatment - nice work!
  19. The red street cobra was the first issue, and has wire wheels, an up-top, street bumpers, smotoh valve covers, smooth hood, no roll bar, and a 2 4bbl intake setup. Mine has the satin chrome, but it can be "buffed off" and made bright again. Oh, the dash panel is a little different than the blue S/C, Essex Wire, Limited and current kits, bon't know what dash panel is in the Baldwin kit. The Baldwin has a hardtop, short side pipes, Halibrand wheels, and slicks, but I think most of the original street parts are there too. Not sure about the chrome in the Baldwin kit either. hope this helps....
  20. Pretty sure Andy rotates pics in/out of the server as needed...afterall, the post is 6 months old now... Brian
