Kenworth W900 Aerodyne

Those are great suggestions! Your builds are awesome! I never thought about that flatbed, but it looks really good with that Peterbilt. Mmmm, so many choices!!! -
I bought this diecast Lamborghini kit from Hobby Lobby for my son. It’s one of Maisto’s AssemblyLine kits that have only 33 parts. He’s 12 years old and this is his first kit that he put together himself. He was so proud, and so was I!

Ive been looking but can’t really decide. I know I want something a little more modern in tooling and that will look good with the truck. Any suggestions? -

Thank you! -
Here’s my Revell Kenworth W900 Aerodyne. It’s a basic build—out of the box. These kits go together very well and are great for a quick build. Forgot the grab bars on the stacks, but I’ll install them later. Enjoy the pics!

Thanks guys! Just adding a few finishing touches. The last thing I did was make some new mud flaps from styrene. -

That engine is looking amazing! Great job on the details! Can’t wait to see this completed! I feel for your eye condition. I have an eye disease that bothers my modeling too so I know what you mean. -

Revell's Peterbilt 359: WIP

It was!! I find this forum to be extremely helpful. Looking at all these great builds helps me to be more observant as I travel up and down I-95 checking out big rigs. I saw a Kenworth K100 Aerodyne still hauling goods, going south yesterday. I would have missed it if I wasn’t on the lookout. -

I’ve never noticed that extra webbing. I better make sure to remove it from my build as well. Everything is looking good on your project! Keep it up! -

Small update. I added the cab lights, fuel tanks, and did a little brush work. I added a little weathering to the frame and still working on the engine. -

Yeah I noticed it is pretty nice. It seems nicer than the AMT California Hauler kit chrome. -

Thank you! Coming from you it’s a wonderful compliment. I’ve seen your work and you definitely inspired me to tackle these trucks. The thing that’s funny is the fact that once you get started on these big rig models they become addictive! -

I’ve looked into this product and have heard good things, but it’s high time I invest in the airbrush. Just gotta do it! -

Funny you mention vinegar, because the Testors decal set smells exactly like vinegar
