  1. Sorry I don´t know how to get the pictures direct in the thread :-(, hopefully somebody knows Thomas http://imgur.com/a/Dxzbd Testing..
  2. Hi. The engine and radiator is in place, the exhaust is nearly finished too. next will be the hood . I hope the pictures will work now. Thomas http://imgur.com/SPvP61n http://imgur.com/akp7pC2 http://imgur.com/iEzxmpP http://imgur.com/0v9yETv
  3. Not so much left to do before I will insall it in the car. I added plastic card on the watertanks ,painted with alclads copper and a little "soldering" with a chrome pen. Also scratched a support for the fuel lines. More later Thomas
  4. Hi More work on the engine, replaced the valve springs with steel thread, far from perfect but it will do. Installed a bunch of sparkplugs and the ignition cables. The fuel lines are also replaced with a little thinner one. Brass color is Alclad polished brass, works fine. Thomas
  5. Hi A little update. cooler is finished and I started with the engine More later Thomas
  6. Hi I´m trying to do the black version of the Mefistofele. Some modifications must be made, a higher rear bodywork, no airvent holes on the right side of the hood, two seats. There are very few pictures of the black car so a little "artistic freedom" must be used :-) Thomas
  7. Great Work ! Be proud :-)
  8. What to say ?! Love it !!
  9. Hi Skip The shift lever is scratched with a alurod and leftovers from the scrap box. And you are right regarding the parkingbrake ! As I said, a real sh*t model !! The manual said it should be between the seats, but when looking at my refs I can see it should be to the left of the seat, I wasn´t aware of this at all :-(
  10. Just a few interior pictures, the spinners came from an old bburago kit, locked nearly as the original.
  11. Hi Skip and thanks :-) The grille was awful! I used this tool on the picture, maybe it´s called a scriber ?! I gently cut off the star on the top and bottom, and also replaced the middle grill "wings" with plastic card. Also I used a saw to make the star cylinder shorter the I put mesh behind it, I hope you understand what I mean :-) Thomas
  12. Hi This is a well known very bad Revell/monogram model. But I got one to a very good price so I decided to do it the easy way. I made a curbside. Only one door can be opend. The body parts is divided in a upper and lower part so there will be nasty joints on the front and rear fenders, I don´t know what they was thinking when making this kit. Someone on the net cut opened a big hole in the lower part and put in the interior pice from the bottom, so did I and it worked rather well. The grill and the rims are modified , the dash and interior has a little extra too .Decals from the sparebox, old style German license plate printed out from the net. Painted with Tamiya spray can white and clear. I thought it would look like an old Targa Florio racer so this is it. :-)
  13. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/64335-amt-cord-1937-112/#comment-782395 Hi, built this a few years ago. Your start is really nice :-) Thomas
  14. Very nice And yes, the color is so cool !
  15. I didn´t know it had been a die cast kit from the beginning, I built the reissue from italeri some time ago. Nice to see one more ! You done a nice job restoring this one Thomas
  16. Hi This is my last finished kit this year. A new one from Revell, very nice to build. Not fond of building street cars so I gave it a little racing look :-) Some details on the engine and also a few other racing stuff. Painted with Tamiya spraycans , racing white and orange + clear. Thomas
  17. Great start ! Nice details. Built this kit many years ago, I remember it was fun to build.
  18. Stunning work ! Like it very much
  19. Hi Thanks all ! I´m glad you liked it :-) Skip: No problems at all, a little simpified maybe but I think it looks very close to the real thing
  20. Hi This is the Otaki roadcar kit but I wanted to do the rally version with Björn Waldegård as driver in the Safarirally 1979. There is a Safari version issued from Otaki (very hard to find ) but with Mikkola as driver. I got help from a modelling friend who scanned the decals for me. Then I had some work with modifying them to the Waldegård version. I did some modifying in the interior , removed the back seat, some new instruments on the panel. also filled in with switches and a microphone. Scratched the rollbar. The seats are from my scrapbox, they looked ok I think. Most work was to scratch the front parts, made my own headlights and the other stuff too, used a brass rod for the front protectionbar. The parts in the rear is scratched too including the mudflaps. Thomas
  21. Sooo beautiful ! Be proud ! Skitsnyggt Bo !!
  22. Looks super !! Fantastic work :-)
  23. Wow Wow Wow !!! Looking good is an understatement
  24. Nice to see this :-) I built this many years ago, one thing I remember is that the body itself is a little to narrow, if you have the Tamiya 934 you can compare them. I didn´t know this when I built it, but I think it looks rather good anyway. Thomas
