  1. nice !!
  2. ooohh still remember seeing these on the road , almost bought a 5 turbo myself , the normal one not the wide one like this .. awsome build !! really stunning !! love it if you would have this irl like this it would be worth a fortune haha the simple 5 turbos are also pretty valuable these days
  3. nice !! really cool colors , looks great hhmm i would just remove the dice ? they are soo big scale wise
  4. sooo clean its almost freaky really awsome job on the build .. i also said it in the build thread and like harry said the front axle solution isnt the best but you know and it not ment badly also if you would deside to upgrade it a bit later on with some small details such as wiring and such it would really compliment the rest .. again awsome clean build !! also like the high roof
  5. whow thats one clean bug build !! love it , the orange looks great !! one friendly pointer , take some black and color the inside of the tailpipes ... would make so much difference realism wise , the rest looks really realistic . especially when you would shoot this one in a better setting (outside ??)
  6. very cool ! love the engine and like the detail such as the waterhose !! imo you should take the time to shoot some outdoor pics of this one , or maybe in a diorama setting or .. but outside shots would do the trick !! deserves a better lighting and backdrop .. its imo a nicer model then these pics show
  7. well first of all , great color , nice paint and it just looks like a well build model .. i really like it !~!! most things are said in the previous posts , since you asked for c&c .. well for me what you could do to improve your result the next time is to start with sanding all the moldlines of the parts before building and painting .. what i mean is there are still so many moldlines on parts where you could have sand them off , or used some bondo . like the shifter , thats just not pretty directly out of the kit .. you could even use house hold stuff to upgrade , lets say the round top of a steel pin (how do you call those for sowing ?) as the shifter knob and .. and what people already mentioned the revell lettering on the bottom , just sand stuff like that off some of the things i noticed moldline wise just on these pics are > rollcage > driveshaft > rear suspension / chassis > shifter etc .. so thats my friendly comment on a nice build , overall for me just get rid of more moldlines on parts and maybe try to add more small detail on some earea's .. btw the pics are great nice and sharp and good feel of detail
  8. very nice build !!
  9. oput some bondo in the floor and tunnel and gave it a first sandjob dryfit with a amazingly spaceous inside after such a extreme set up enough work to be done but i'm building at a quarter speed this winter i think the projects will go much faster haha
  10. hmm nice red !! and nice shine
  11. very very cool ! awsome result and yes they are great fun and you can build them is so many different styles / ways
  12. nice job !! loving this hope to se some clearer pics later ?
  13. superb QQ
  14. nice @!!
  15. still in the rough building ...... made a new rear wall (behind the seat area , the bench is only for dryfitting i will put in 2 seats also dryfitten a piece of driveshaft the driveshaft see from the bottom sawded a pen to pieces and made the base of the tunnel with that , rough draft with the engine and inside you see the tunnel that runs in the back wall , just need to fil the seems and get the tunnel looking nicer with some detail and a shifter
  16. awsome ! going to show this too my good friend who is a real rc fanatic !!
  17. cool those garbage bags look awsome !!!!!
  18. thnx yes i did too when i build my 32 5-window from revell and in the end i was not happy with the result .. so on this one i wanted to get it right and make sense its fairly easy first put the body on a sheet of styrene or plastic and in my case that was an option with the open roof .. i was able to draw along the inside and cut it out and have the correct inner shape .../ a whole one piece fitting floor if the roof is closed i guess you could dran around the outside onto the sheet and draw a new line minus the thickness of the body .. bit harder but .. then i had a fitting floor .. i then layed it loose on the chassis and put the body on in the correct position and hight .. then i could mark on eitch side the outer pieces that i glued on the outside of the chassis (with the pointy shape) that follow the side lines .. the middle pieces where easy just layed the chassis on some sheel material and drew the lines , cut it out and glued them in the outer parts are the hardest to get exactly right without any bog gaps .. hope this made sense and was understandable
  19. nice and yes this is better .. if you compare them ... curious on the rest
  20. sorry i really missed your thread , dont know why .. no i didnt have those seats myself its a dutch builder on a forum but the pic was from a acient post and it was a porsche kit he was buikding .. those porsche seats ussually are in the revell porsche kits if i'm correct .. if your lucky you can score either a old build model or a incomplete kit ?? for cheap ... (incomplete kit with the seats that is hahahaha) thats said > dan what a awsome progress you made , just stunning stuff ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  21. thnx thnx and well really ? this is the first rod where i really put so much time and attention in the undercarridge , like said from now on i want to pay more attention to making stuff more realistic in that earea .. and well for me personally .. this is going to be my best build .. i also want to run some brakelines on this one and .. well lets say first most attention went to how cool it looks but after all those great projects here , wich construction wise i learned a lot from by looking .. now i just want to get more and more detail in and more correct take the floor i was making a one piece floor on top of teh chassis and well after making the transmount and chassis changes i just could not get it right .. also i used very thin plate .. but irl it would still take up much space and today i started working on the floor untill i came up with this > sunk the floor inbetween the chassis .. and yes this was it and not only did this close all the gaps better on the sides it just looks so cool imo .. and i believe ? people do this irl as well right ? for more room inside ? and should i make like extra brackets on the underside from the chassis to the plate or just keep it like its on the pics with no brackets ? again for the floor i used old window blind sheet plastic , this and it glues great gearbox , now i have to make a tunnel for the driveshaft seen from the bottom , so should i make some adittional brakets from chassis to the floor or leave it like this ? after a first rough sand job of the floor
