  1. Thanks fellas. I would think that plum crazy purple would be very similar. I used Minwax polyurethane in a rattle can. 5 coats each, and a week to cure in a heated room.
  2. Here is the finished product: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83950
  3. Finally got this one finished...robbed the big block and some other parts from the Chevelle pro street kit and came up with this...my first time airbrushing. It's Creatix Plum Pearl acrylic.
  4. Thanks guys...airbrushing really isn't that difficult, granted I'm a noob but it really is simple. I bought Creatix paint at Hobby Lobby, poured it into the top of the gun, thinned with a bit of water and laid down about 5 coats....then I sprayed about 5 coats of Minwax Polyurethane furniture clear on it and let it sit for about 3 days before assembly. I'll put up a completed photo in the Under Glass forum when it's done.
  5. My first airbrush paint job...
  6. Just bought the 4 Runner version last month. Great curbside kits.
  7. Saw this build on a Facebook group earlier. Great build.

  9. It's at Hobby Town here where I live. I built the Limited Edition a couple years ago and it's not a very good kit. Well, it requires more patience than I have, lol.
  10. Great stuff...I follow your work in some of the Facebook groups....(or at least I think it's yours, lol)
  11. Great builds! How do you get those so shiny? I use a generous coat of clear, and they are shiny for awhile, but then once they gas out the sheen goes away.
  12. Hey Monty, I believe it was a Duplicolor color that I used on the darker one...can't remember exact name.
  13. Thanks guys!
  14. Thanks!
  15. Thanks!

  19. Panther Pink of course...
  20. This kit is one of my favorites...I used '67 Chevelle front suspension to get them low in the front.
  21. Yea, the thing is so small I don't know why I bought it. Excited about the Mustang though. Going to try and make a bracket racer out of it.
  22. Yea, this has coil springs and "working" suspension.
