  1. I bought the reissue Reher-Morrison Camaro, but decided it needed to be a donor kit...but for what? I looked at my stack of Boondocker Blazers and had my answer...these pics are just very early mockups for stance and wheelbase measuring...so far so good. Basically everything but the body of the Camaro will be used in this build...it won't sit this low in the front when it's done and it will sit high enough in the back that the tubs will clear a tonneau cover that I will add later.
  2. Some original screw bottom Mopars and Johan bodies, but they are all gone now.
  3. Unfortunately it has already been started, but I think whoever started it did a fairly good job on it. Tractor is almost built, and the hauler has been built and taken apart at some point. The panels are slightly warped from being stored in a non-flat manner, but a little heat should bring them back around. It appears to be complete. I haven't gotten around to counting each part per the instructions but to the untrained eye it looks to be all there. Not bad for $40.
  4. Got this and a few OLD kits for a very, very good price...can't wait to build it.
  5. I don't have any of the casting stuff yet. It is just something I have been tossing around. Starting small with pro stock carbs, headers, etc, then maybe moving up to bigger stuff. Not sure how much of an up front expense it is to get started but I am interested in learning it.
  6. I would prefer option 3, because I know I could cast them and sell them....I can't be the only person looking for one, lol.
  7. Yes, they are different. I tried to fit the pickup hood to the Blazer last night and the proportions are off
  8. I am building a 2wd Blazer from the Boondocker kit and am needing someone to make me a resin outlaw hood...I looked on feebay but all I can find is the hood for the '72 pickups.
  9. Turned out great. I will get one of these soon...
  10. Mark used to run locally years ago....back when dirt track racing was fun and before egos got in the way.
  11. Looks great. I bought this the other day as a donor kit for my '72 Blazer....
  12. LOL...I guess in his defense it COULD have been his ex old lady responding....but I doubt it.
  13. Yea, I think those would be pretty useless on a car with that much HP lol.
  14. Yes, it's the snap version...I used left over stripes from the GT500 kit, chopped them up to make a fictitious option package lol.
  15. Hey there's Bradley Chun too...small world eh?
  16. "Hard racing"....LOL! I laughed so hard at this...was it a hard kit to build?
  17. Quick build that still needs minor detailing, should finish it this weekend...
  18. Hey Trey, glad to see you on here. You are in a few of the Facebook model groups I am in...frame is looking good. Wish I had the eyesight and patience to do that, lol.
  19. Thanks guys. Hopefully it will be finished this weekend...trying to decide on wheels/tires now. I just moved and I have NO idea where any of my parts boxes or spare goodies are at. Might have to hit up fleabay and get some Pegasus...
  20. Looks good....
  21. LOL Booboo60, I think you need to read this entire thread...
  22. I had to cut about 1/4" off the standoffs that mate the chassis to the interior tub to get it close to fitting. I will use clamps to do the final fitting and hopefully it will stay together.
  23. Thanks, it's Creatix Pearl Green through an airbrush. My second airbrush job...it may turn out ok.
  24. Nothing is really fitting very well on this build, and of course like all of the Revell Mustang kits it will need to have the 4x4 stance taken down a bit and have decent wheels and tires added...
  25. The entire car is built with kit included parts, including all decals. Some parts are from the Pro Street '67 Chevelle, such as the engine. 90% Nova though lol
