  1. Almost got this one completed box stock, then decided the front sat too high. By the time I had torn the front end off I decided to go ahead and make it a 4x4. I should have it done tonight.
  2. Built this one like you might find stashed away in a barn. Been hot rodded a little bit, but was mostly a parts runner for Blue Ridge Tire and Auto in Tennessee.
  3. The long board that came with the kit is currently drying. And like an idiot I glued the back window in so I can't have it hanging out the back lol. I guess I need to make a rack.
  4. This one just has small details left to be repainted and I need to find the missing headlight lens, lol.
  5. This was a challenging build, not because of the kit or the quality of parts. I could not make up my mind as to how I wanted it built. At one point I had a Coyote 5.0 and Pegasus wheels on it with a slammed stance. It just didn't look right being a long bed. So I tore it back down and built it box stock minus a little bit of lowering in the front. It just needs detail painting, taillights, and the bowed hood needs repaired. Not sure how I'm going to do it yet. Enjoy...
  6. I believe the decals came from the '53-'54 Chevy Sedan Delivery with the Drill Sergeant Gasser box art.
  7. Thanks guys. It's the Revell Sox and Martin reissue from last year with Gofer Hometown sponsor decals. I wanted to build something you'd see at a local track, not a million dollar trailer queen. Box stock except decals.
  8. Thanks guys. The stripe was from one of the other Mustang kits that I have. I also have mirrors from the 2013 Boss but I can't find them since I painted them lol.
  9. Thanks guys. The wheels, tires, and engine all came from the '06 Camaro Concept car I believe.
  10. Thanks fellas. The kit basically puts itself together. Typical Galaxie kit. I did notice I forgot to put the shocks on lol. No wonder it beats me to death going back and forth between the shop and home.
  11. Couldn't remember if I had posted this one before or not so here goes:
  12. Basically box stock, decals from a different kit though.
  13. Still need to finish up paint details, taillights, etc....
  14. Great job so far...interesting way to run the plug wires.
  15. Thanks guys. I only came up with some of the lettering on my own. The rest was found online and printed. The green Paco's Tacos was online, but it's very easy to do in newer editions of MS Word believe it or not. I will get back here with steps on how to do it when I get home from work.
  16. Built as a curbside...no engine. I may try and find some resin food items to put on the fold down door once it's installed.
  17. Imagineering.....I like that!
  18. Recently purchased black embossing powder at Hobby Lobby. Also got some Elmer's spray adhesive. Works great and is simple to do. Can't believe I hadn't done it years ago.
  19. Looking good. I just bought this too. It will be a weekend racer that looks like it's in the middle of being rebuilt. Different colored fenders, mismatched interior, etc....
  20. Amazing work for your first kit. I wish I had the time and patience to achieve that kind of detail.
