  1. Is the car painted, or did you polish the plastic?
  2. Thanks fellas!
  3. Finally got this one finished. Box stock except FD100 wheels and tires, and lowered it. Color is Purpliscous and the top is Sand. Windshield frame and top were warped pretty bad, and rear window frame was cracked out of the box. The way they pack the body on the side of the box is odd. Anyway, I did the best I could with it. Enjoy...
  4. Here are some interior shots...
  5. All valid points. The entire windshield frame is bowed. The body is packed against the side of the box. The back window frame was also cracked. I will post an interior shot in a little bit.
  6. I didn't notice the cat hair on the front end til I posted the pics haha
  7. Made this one into a panel. It's not 100% correct but I like the look. The windshield was cracked in half in the bag, so I am waiting on Revell to send me another one. Not sure what kind of powerplant it will have yet. Possibly a BBC out of the Nickey Camaro.
  8. I had the kit wheels and tires installed and it just didn't look right. Tossed them aside and put the Foose FD100 wheels on it with some discs and slammed it down. Now it looks more like an EldoROD...the purists will disagree but oh well. Color is Purplicious with a Sand top and interior.
  9. Thanks fellas. I need to take some acetone to the back window and get the rest of the glue off of it and add the radiator hose lol
  10. Yes it's been out, I have one built, but they aren't at Hobby Lobby yet. Or at least not any around here.
  11. Not yet. Not even a spot on the shelf for it yet.
  12. Well you can't argue with that lol. However, I did find the exact same list used by permission from the author and it is different. The list you posted shows 1964 as gray. The list that was used by a different site has different info. It shows 1964 Truck as orange. No wonder nobody can get a straight answer.
  13. "#1 The engine should be Gray, specifically, Chevrolet Gray, which is a blueish gray. Battleship Gray is a close match. Orange engines were Passenger car only. Trucks did not get Orange engines until '67" This is not entirely true. I did have a '65 with the 292 six that was the blue gray...the 283 V8's were orange.
  14. Thanks, I believe it is Tor Red Metallic Duplicolor.
  15. I built this kit mostly box stock, but I saved the wheels and tires for a different build. I filled in the tailgate to get rid of the Foose logo, but kept the Roush decals. Wheels and tires are run of the mill Pegasus pieces. Enjoy.
  16. It'll be slammed with a custom interior and LS power. I have extra Foose wheels and tires that I will likely use.
  17. Looks great! I just finished mine as well.
  18. This kit basically built itself...most parts and pieces fit well. The hood is still a little wonky. I could have filled the gaps etc but chose to build it out of the box. My only complaint is the goofy low hanging spare tire hanger. I cut it down and made it more believable, although the purists will skoff. Color is Rustoleum Gloss Spa Blue, no clear was added to the body save for the white roof piece. I lost the correct rear view mirror so I sourced one from a parts box. I only installed one side mirror, as it seemed more period correct for some reason. I found a glob of glue had seeped out from beneath the rear doors so I chose not to upload that pic lol. Anyway, solid 9/10, with the hood and spare tire being the only drawbacks. I can't wait to get my second one started, which will NOT be stock.
  19. It is a Rustoleum camo tan. 279180 is the number on the can and it is called Sand.
  20. Thanks. Yes the seats are painted camo tan, then topped with the kit decals. Turned out great I think.
