  1. I lived in Colville and Kettle Falls and now live in the Fort Smith AR area.
  2. Nice project! I used to live north of Spokane too lol.
  3. Here is mine, almost finished. https://goo.gl/photos/evF78ZGF1FYGbeKe8
  4. Also, since I used a non included motor, the exhaust manifolds don't line up with the exhaust pipes, but I will correct that soon. The top needs to be tweaked just a bit to fit 100 percent correctly
  5. If you look close the front steering assembly isn't exactly lined up correctly. I still need to tweak it and get it all the way it is supposed to be. Other than the finicky steering stuff it went together fairly easily. The key is patience. The dash assembles to the underneath of the cowl instead of into the interior piece, and the windshield needs to be installed with the roof so the angle can be set correctly. After gluing it in place I let it sit overnight and had no issues
  6. This is a very good kit, but I improved (I think) on it a bit. Instead of the puny driveshafts that were in the kit I used stir sticks to give it a beefier appearance. I used the 390 out of the Moebius kit, and cut the kit transmission off the 302 and mated them together. I used parts box tires and sourced the wheels and side trim from the same Moebius truck kit. I used the push bar and antenna from a High Roller kit, and the CB radio from the AMT '78 Ford kit. I had to lift the back end of the body a bit to fit the rear tires and I think it looks pretty good. I should have it finished today. I have small details left and a bit of detail painting to do. Thanks for looking.
  7. It's a great kit, my only issue was the interior door panels were a bit finicky to get fitted correctly. You have a great start here.
  8. Excellent! Steve Darnell would be proud!
  9. Thanks fellas!
  10. Is there a reputable place to get the Shabo dry transfer decals in white? I understand they aren't being produced anymore, is that true?
  11. It looks like January of 1970 is when the main high impact colors rolled out, or at least Panther Pink. It's your build, do it your way and say it was a 1 of 1 executive's car.
  12. The Panther Pink wasn't an option until 1970, but it would look interesting for sure.
  13. Looks good. The first thing I do on this kit is lower the front end down and put the stock Chevelle rear taillight panel in. You did a great job with the removable front clip.
  14. Very nice! I didn't think it was possible to build that old kit this well!
  15. Outstanding!
  16. Got mine at HobbyTown yesterday for $28 plus tax, the snap kit is $26 plus tax.
  17. It's the Z71/SS package.
  18. I will for sure get one, I just can't quit buying drones LOL
  19. I went back this past Saturday and it is marked down to $29.99, still ridiculous for a kit with 10 parts.
  20. Could the roof for the coupe be modified to fit the '29 roadster? I have several of them but the '30 is hard to find around here.
  21. Yes, both are included in the kit.
  22. I have a similar build...yours looks great!
  23. I had this Snap kit in my hand at Hobby Lobby the other day and then I saw the $40 price tag and realized I had officially been priced out of shopping there. Even with the 40% off coupon it is a tough pill to swallow. Model Roundup has the same kit for $20.
  24. The original poster is building a replica of Mike Finnegan's car, Blasphemy. Later in the thread someone posted a pic of the 1:1 car.
  25. Mine will be a mid year car lol....It will have the '84 paint but the '83 grille.
