  2. Great work...I have one of these and I was wondering what it would actually look like...You've done very nice work on it...
  3. Excellent work, my friend....This IS one of the best AMT vettes I've ever seen....Very nice work on the paint...Awesome...
  4. Nice work on this one....I think I remember this kit....I built it when I was a teenager...I recall having an issue with the skirts, as well...But this looks very good...Nice interior...
  5. Got some more pics..
  6. I built this one about a year ago...I took two Italeri race rigs and combined them to make a 53' trailer....I've built a few of these and they came out surprisingly good...I hope you agree...
  7. Yeah, this is a good one for sure...I love the detail, as well...Awesome paintwork, and excellent photography...Very nice...
  8. Very nice work...Excellent detail and expert weathering....
  9. She's a beauty...Very artful paint job....Looks awesome...
  10. Yes, Sir...Absolutely a very nice job on this one...Very well weathered and detailed...Keep it up...
  11. Beautiful...Sorry, I had to laugh, a bit...Only because I remember this car in the 1/1....I had a buddy who's big brother got this same car when they first came out...Same color and everything...We were just in awe....I think I was about 14 at the time...Great build...Just showing my age, is all...Excellent work, Man...And it's true, I don't think I've EVER seen this car posted or built, for that matter, ANYWHERE...It really is beautiful....And that maroon Trans Am!!!! That is my FAVORITE car EVER... .EVER!!!!!!!Mind you...EVER!!!
  12. Nothing special...Just added a piece of glass to the hole that was already there, trimmed away any unwanted plastic, and slapped a piece over the back, and "Boom"...Instant little window....The headache rack would conceal everything, anyway, so....
  13. Built this one about 10 years ago...I'm not sure, really...I do know it was a while back, though...
  14. Built this one about a year ago...I had the parts left from the LA Recovery truck after I snagged the tow body for another build, So I decided to see what a day cab would look like...This is what I came up with... The truck is 99% done...Just need some air hoses and some chains, and some mud flaps, etc, etc......
  15. Thanks, man...I scratchbilt the trailer out of .060 styrene I got from a plastics distribution place...I used the Italeri refer and the lift gate from the 48' trailer and truck accessory pack they have and the wheels and tires from one of those 1/32 scale models you see at the truck stops all over...
  16. It was about a month and a half....It helps when you have a lot of styrene plastic around....Not afraid to make mistakes.... Went to a plastics supplier and picked up two 4' x 8' pieces of .060" styrene for like $20 a sheet and I've still got A LOT left....And I eyeball a lot of stuff...To me, if it looks right, it is right...Thanks for the interest, Doug...
  17. Thanks, Man...Another man out of the Houston area...Cool...
  18. Actually, the trailer is scratchbuilt...I used a few of the interior components from the AMT model....I modified them to fit a more modern version of the trailer....The AMT version is quite dated, so I made my own 1/24 scale version...
  19. You may not know much about big rigs, but I think you know enough...That is one of the most original paint jobs I've seen on a rig....Very nice...Love how everything flows...It's beautiful....I absolutely love it.... Keep this kind of stuff up, Man....Outstanding...
  20. Oh yeah..This is nice...Love it..Looks great...
  21. Thanks, Boys...I appreciate the comments...
  22. These are very nice models...I have no personal experience with them, but I'm game to try....I've seen some, or rather one, plastic-models.com, but a little rich for my blood...But these are excellent looking examples....
