Those turned out awesome, Man....I'm really loving that Freightliner......That's my favorite, but all those snappers are worthy of recognition, too....They're great !!! With the extra axles and kit bashed wheels and tires, they really look the part.....Awesome.... -

Man, this is awesome....I used to see guys do trucks this way a lot, down here in Houston.....It was always so cool that the truck beds matched up with these old cabs, so well.....Seen a few of these in my day.....Nice work....I'm really loving the color..... Atomic orange, huh??? I like that.... -

Great job on this one, Man.....Well done.... -
Well....I got it all torn apart.....Went to work on prettying it up a little and such.....Reworked the mirrors and slapped a little paint on it.....Here's where we are, now..... There are quite a few screws to take out.....I only hope I can remember where they all go when it comes time to get it back together..... There is an unsightly mold seam that just HAS to go..... Got the button holes filled and sanded....I may add a light bar right there.....Just a thought, for now.....Also added some skirts to the side fairings and front bumper.....I want to do it to the wheel wells, too, but I'll have to revisit that, later..... There is a hole already cut out, too.....After a little more research, I think we will have a nicely appointed interior fabbed up.....I'm too anxious to get this one done to see how it looks with a Moebius 53'er behind it.....So for now, I'm leaving the roof top loose so I can get to it later.....The cab and interior pieces come out fairly easily......

I would imagine you could do a Reliable set up using the Revell car transport and build a housing similar to this one....I may have to tackle something like that next.....I never thought of combining the two....You just put an idea into my head that I would NEVER have come up with if you hadn't made this reply....Thanks a lot, Mike......

Very basic tandem axle set up......This is a curbside model.....I get my wheels and tires from the 1/32 scale Jada big rig models......They work great for these and are easily acquired......You do end up with a lot of little rigs with no wheels on them, though....I wish I could just order a bunch of them...... Here it is on my "Test" tractor to check appearances.... The roof top with lip added for support and alignment....

Got some more done, today.....I managed to get what I shall call "Shell A" together......It's been a while, so I'm glad I have 2 of these to do....My measurements on a couple things were a teensy bit off, but easily corrected.....Just a little rusty, I guess....Anyway here's what I did in the past few hours..... Had to add some strip at the bottom to get the floor in the right place.... Then, of course, I have to make the floor..... The wheel wells have to be fabbed up...... And put into place..... Then the front end pieces have to be cut and installed..... And then, "Boom".....Instant race trailer shell.....From here, you can go a number of ways...... You can do the interior and lift gate, if you so choose......This one will have a lift gate.....That is where I will be going after I get the wheels and tires on.....

I'd love to see a Long Line that I didn't have source out for, though.....I've got a few Scanias, but haven't been able to pony up the funds to get a resin conversion for it.....Since it has to be obtained from KFS, shipping is a little steep to get it here to the states.....I really like Scania Long Lines.....It's one of the coolest rigs I've ever seen.....I want one.... -

Awesome job on this one.....Very realistic.....And redoing the skylights was a great idea....Looks much better that way.... -
Actually, I just use one of these and a drill.....It's crude, but it works.....I can drill through multiple pieces of plastic, thereby making both trailer sides exactly the same.....Critical when doing these......I tape both sides together, mark where I want the holes and get busy.....Take them apart and I have two matching sides.....
