  1. I totally had that one on the brain, as well.....I want to add a flip down axle to the back side of that low boy.....Totally gonna do that.....
  2. LOL !!!!!! You know the deal......
  3. This looks great, Man....Wow....You've got a flair for detail.....
  4. Man, this looks good.....The engine is done quite nicely.....I like the black fuel tanks.....With that color on the cab, it should look pretty good....
  5. I've got another couple of race trailers going, again.....Just the shells, but both with lift gates, this time......I've started the primary cuts and such, and I'm about to get to assembly....
  6. Gonna begin to modify a New Ray Peterbilt 579......I'm really digging this toy, for sure.....All Y'all know I'm gonna paint this baby ORANGE !!!! For starters.....I'm not sure what all I'm gonna do, but you'll see it, here.....This is the starting point..... Here it is next to my Italeri Volvo and step deck I built a while ago.....Looks the part, I'd say......Can't wait to get rid of those stupid buttons and fix those mirrors.....Once that's done, it shouldn't take too much more to make it look realistic.....
  7. If you don't want it, I'll trade you something for it.....I like to use the wheels and tires for my 1/16 scale builds.....Just shoot me a PM....Got plenty of stuff....They work great for race trailers......
  8. Got a couple of these in, today and I've got a few ideas already.....I haven't been this exited about a "toy" since I was 5.....These things are not as accurate as they could be, but they're pretty good for what they are....With a few modifications, they really could be awesome...I've studied Tim's work, and he's done some great things.....Mine won't be as ambitious, but they won't have to be to improve upon what they've offered........The lowboy trailer is, actually pretty nice.....It even has a detachable goose neck.....Very simplistic in how it works, but sturdy...Came with the same crane and excavator as with the 1/32 scalers, but they scale out to about 1/25 scale, anyway.....I set one up next to my Volvo and step deck I built a number of years ago, and to be honest, I'm impressed.....Made me smile a lot.....For some reason, I got the black one with the excavator for $54.99 plus $7.95 flat rate shipping and the blue one with the crane for exactly $8.00 cheaper.....No idea why.....But a pretty good deal for a truck, trailer, and a load......Can't wait to get to modifying these bad boys....
  9. Seriously, magnificent achievement......The detail is astounding.....Particularly the broken glass at the rear of the crane cab.......That is just too cool....
  10. Truly some nice work, Man.....Great execution, for sure....Looks very real....
  11. Yeah it is....Had no idea you were building this....The new stuff is just as awesome.....I really like how you did all those major industrial tools....And those ladders are pretty impressive, too.....Amazing work, Man....Amazing work.....I've got to get off my duff and get to work on something for my truck models.....I think I need a loading bay or two.....
  12. Oh, that's you, Man?? I totally dig your work....What can I say, but Awesome, Awesome, Awesome......
  13. This dude ROCKS !!!!! This is some of the most amazing work I've ever seen....He excels in many disciplines for sure.....Photography, for one.....And the builds are incredible.....Wow !!!
  14. Well done, my friend....Very well done...
  15. Absolutely phenomenal.....This is just so good, Man.....It's awesome.....Just awesome.....I don't know how you could improve upon such an amazing achievement....It's just amazing....
  16. Man, this is one of my favorite kit trailers....Your improvements look great....This is gonna be cool....
  17. Dude!!! That is really looking good....You won't hear anything out of me about that steering wheel.....I'm loving this....
  18. This little jewel is looking pretty good.....Great job on this.....I love the pic of the chassis as it shows why these trucks were so dangerous in side impact crashes.....Just burst into flames.....Amazing they got away with it for so long......Anyway.....Excellent work....
  19. And thanks for the birthday wishes, Guys......I turned 49, today.....Almost at the top of the hill.....
  20. Lol.....After I added the extra adornments in that spot, I remembered that.....But if it were a real truck, that stuff would be removable......I just didn't get too detailed with this one being my first attempt and all.....I did good just getting the over all look right..... Maybe next time, I'll pay a little more attention.....
  21. Now, that's a barn find, for sure.....It really does look pretty good that way with no paint....How 'bout that.....
  22. Looks like you've got a great start.....Good work with the saw.....That takes some skills, there.....
