its a 1 ton 64 chevy..not in really bad shape..

now thats looks so real..great job..u need to post that picture...thats why i will never post a picture of a finished model unless i can take pictures outside..and i got to weather it also..lol..

i use the Tamiya acrylic paint..smoke..

i'm thinking most of u have never seen one of these trucks going down the road...back in the day i grew up in the woods driving one similar to this..these trucks were mostly home made useing what they could find down to the winch made out out of a car or truck rear end and military tires..(got them from the local army base)..the bulk is 100% scratch built , added boom, cut down rear end ,brake with handle (behind cab..this is what worked the winch)..i bent the bumper and light, cracked the windshield, scratched built mirrors,painted name on door,(thats how they did it back in the day), weathered with pastels..

i agree with the acrylic clear...

started with a box full of 3 AMT T-600 peaces.. never did like the kit but i figured why not...this is what i ended up with..first i molded in the grill..filled in the back with evergreen to make a day cab,,added another axle...scratched built the head ake rack...added duel pipes with the help of some #12 elect. wire..added air horns..diamond screen to grill...air..elect..and hyd. oil hook ups...added amt trailer with all hook ups and with my own photo etched truck mates on mud flaps..weathered out with pastels..

thats a really fine build u have ..if u want to do weathering..get u some pastels..about 8 $ at wally world..try them out on a old build up..take your acto knife and shave the sticks to power..than u can mix up any color..i love them..
