  1. The revell 69 camaro has a nice booster and master cyl. Assembly. Dont know about other kits. I would check other revell kits. Make sure the camaro is 1/25th.
  2. Having owned a couple of 68 and 69 cutlasses they are essentially same car with minor differences. The 68 has different headlight and dashknobs than the 69 and for the conversion you will have to fill in the spots for the tailight on the 69. I have one of those kits and doing the conversion. Nice kit. The toughest part is changing the knobs. Or if your not that picky i wouldnt worry about it. Good luck and have fun.
  3. Trying to find a supplier for the shabo tire lettering that might match. Any ideas would be welcomed.
  4. Just recieved my bf goodrich tires today. WOW. I'm impressed. I'll definitely be looking forward to new items from you joe. I will be getting more items definitely.
  5. Looking good i like. How about replicas of the snow flake pattern that are above the 1:1 honeycomb?
  6. I agree with the last post. I quit watching american hot rods because of the drama. I want to watch to see cars not members of the shop air their laundry to the viewing public.
  7. Just got my kits today and decided to check the tires. Don't know if it's a early mold issue or they corrected the part, but both kits I opened didn't have mismatched tires they all looked good. I like the new tread pattern. I wonder if tires size could be corrected by removing the tampo printing and using a shabo set to correct the size? Ideas?
  8. Does that include a spare magnafier lens as well for us with old eyes. Lol. Looking forward to those wheels. Any ideas on pricing yet. Joe.
  9. Thats a great idea on separate pieces. Ill need the old magnafier lens for sure. Lol. Can't wait. I have several projects in mind for those wheels besides the ole general.
  10. I bad. Both the hobby stores in my area had a bunch on the shelves.
  11. Just got mine today. Both the hobby stores at a bunch. Upon examination of mine. Noticed faint mold lines. Nothing serious and also the paxton supercharger or pieces of it on the chrome tree. If i remember right the amt 57 ford has the paxton pieces as well.
  12. Wow looks good as is. Should have a few for people who don't want the lugnuts. Just a bare wheel. Ill take some when your done
  13. Update on wheels. I did research om lime and talked with a friend who has worked for olds forever. Je said the original wheels were 14 inch but a lot of people update the wheels to the later style 15 wheels. Hes not sure but in 70 when they changed the body style to wider some of the cars had 15 inch tires fit because there was room to do so. Unloke the narrower 69 body.
  14. I don't know about the 15 inch tire size on the cutlasses. I owned a 1969 cutlass s holiday coupe with the w-31 package and it had factory 14 inch tires. I was second owner of car and it had 70,000 miles on it. And the door tag i believe said they were f70 by 14. Anyway that was the tire size of the factory chrome wheels.
  15. I agree. I make every attempt to support our aftermarket to make their efforts worthwile.
