I've used both automotive tint film and Tamiya X-19 "smoke" to good effect

This is Tamiya TS13 clear over Tamiya TS44 Brilliant Blue and yellow scallop decals I wetsanded the clear with 2,000 grit and polished it with Novus #2 plastic polish -
The "V8" badges on the front fenders are molded in- I had to sand them off in order to use the PE ones

Currently 31 degrees here, but dry thankfully. I put our bottle of celebratory champagne outside last night to chill it as it's colder than in the fridge. Stoked the woodstove with some oak I've been saving and got the house up to 78 degrees last night. Happy 2015 to all!
