  1. I agree, level off the top of the door it would come up enough....
  2. Yes it would..... let me know if you want to, I'm sure it wouldn't take much to twist his arm to do it........
  3. Ok, I wasn't sure being that this is part of a community build on here if we could/should show these in the WIP zone. Anyway, this started life as a 74 GTX Shirley Mouldowney funny car. The initial red part of the body was hacked by a good friend of mine that lost interest and I bought it. Since then it's taken on a few changes. 70 Cuda nose and hood, 74 Cuda funny car tail section and soon to be front fenders. Viper GTS chassis and drive train, 59 Impala dash board. The nose Crank driven blower Here's where it is now with Pantera wheels, it'll be a lot lower when done. Front fenders going on it...
  4. Wait a minute, the roof is about a .001 of an inch off!!!! LMAO, so now I know what all that black smoke that has been brewing just south of me has been. I saw a ton of smoke all weekend and couldn't for the life of now what would burn that long!!! Now I know, it was either you thinking like a mad man, or you burning through about 20 saws!!!!!!!! Ken, all I gotta say is you are the man!!!!! The last photo is almost dead nuts on!!!! So, I know a good caster not to far from where you and I live!!!! LOL
  5. Kool beans, liking this one!!!!!!
  6. Hey Ken the pic didn't show yesterday. Looking good so far. I notice the rear quarter above the wheel opening has a bit of a hip to it where-as the Ferrari quarter is more flat. Thanks Mike!!!!!
  7. Looks awesome
  8. Ok guys, here it is. I going to change out the front wheel well opening for a smaller one. 74 GTX (Mouldowney funny car), 70 Cuda nose, 74 Cuda funny car tail-front fenders-top of fenders, Viper chassis and interior tub and driveline, 59 Impala dash board. Pantera wheels. The car will be a lot lower than this. This is just to show the wheels. It'll be almost on the ground when done...
  9. thanks kerry I just need to get back to it Here's to hoping ya do!!!!
  10. Oh yeah I decided the 5 spoke wheels aren't going on. I found a set of Pantera wheels that I had. Hogged out the back of them to open the spokes up. I'm also going to close in the front wheel opening as it's a bit wide. I also found out that the body on this was actually the 74 GTX (Shirley Mouldowney) funny car body. I talked to a friend of mine that started the red part of this car.
  11. Well after today, the side pipes may not be a go. I'll hopefully take some pics tomorrow but I got a lot done on it as well as my clubs project semi.......
  12. Nice, I'll be watching this one....
  13. I'm liking the way it's turning out so far. Thought about putting side pipes on it but not sure I want t ogo that way with it...
  14. I'm just gonna say, "Ditto" to what everyone has already said!!!!!!
  15. I liked yhe way it looked, but really looking at it once it's painted, that's a lot of....just....body back there. I wanted to break up the expanse of the tail with some lines, so I changed the look a bit. You might like the new look!!???!!
  16. I'm realizing that with the body mods I'm doing this is starting to look like and old Lotus......... Hope to have photos up after the mad thrash tomorrow at Kemps!!!!!
  17. Looking good so far!!!!!!
  18. I can come down there and tie a rope to your bed and drag ya out there!!!!
  19. Yet again, I won't be there this time Nick. I'll be getting ready for Kemps tomorrow.
  20. Sling it!!!!!!!! Let it FLY!!!!
  21. Got's to have the music going, for sure...... Now the question is do you listen to different types of music depending on the style of build???? I know when I build Ol Skool Kustoms or traditional hot rods I listen to Rock-A-Billy (mostly Stray Kats), If I'm building an aggressive mean street kustom Il isten to metal (Maiden, Savatage etc)........
  22. That is a beaut!!!!!
