  1. Thanks Digo! Thanks Russ!
  2. I'm liking the wing and hood too.
  3. Is that stuff on the wheel wells burnt rubber? If so that's freaken awesome!
  4. It's so cool to watch this thing being built, top notch craftsmanship on it!
  5. It's gonna be one beautiful Cuda when it's finished, excellent work so far.
  6. Great work Matti, that's got to be the nicest 78 Camino I've ever seen.
  7. Started work on the body the changes are as follows. Before The wheel wells were a little to small for my liking so I removed the trim pieces around them and the trim below the doors. Smoothed up the roof and removed some of the trim along the bottom of the roof. The gas cap has been recessed to improve aerodynamics (not by a lot though). This idea was borrowed from the Daytona from Fast and Furious 6. And Finally the most noticeable change the grill. Going for a Fast and Furious look and just a little more intimidating overall I thought it would look pretty good with a wire mesh grill, very similar to the Charger's grill. It will get the wire mesh shortly (next update). Here's what it looks like on the car. I also cut out most of the engine bay so I could squeeze the wider tires in. Thanks for looking!
  8. That's one wild color combo, it works perfectly for the car, excellent build.
  9. It looks perfect from my view, great job on it!
  10. Awesomeness!! We need some of these on the road now! Killer concept man it's a stunner.
  11. As the spaniard in The Princess Bride once said. "I hate waiting." Seriously, I can't wait to see it!
  12. That's a perfect paint job in my book. It's super shiny, and purple, great job on it.
  13. Thanks! I'll definitely keep that color in mind, looks good on them Vipers. Thank you!
  14. Well I've started work on the frame, after some debating on whether or not I should try modifying the stock frame or build a new frame for the Viper suspension, I decided to build a new one and here's were it's at so far. Thanks for looking!
  15. Awesome Dart man, that engine detail is wild.
  16. Sweet build, looks fine.
  17. The body work and roll cage looks great. It's good to see you working on it again, looking forward to seeing more.
  18. Nice work Frank two pics are missing though. Nothing to update for the hot rod I came up with a name for it though, Mr Sinister. And my team name is 16Ten racing for the numbers of cylinders each car will have. Now for my second entry the rebuild of my 67 GTX titled Sinister's Snake. My plans for it are to build it up like something from the Fast and Furious movies. It will have the suspension and power plant from a Viper, bare bones interior, roll cage, something made for performance, haven't decided on a color yet, but I'm thinking something with black and red. And now. . . wait for it . . . It's BATH TIME!!! . . . . *looks around* Alright come out from behind the couch everyone, I'm talking about the car not you guys. And after 2 odd days it's half done. And after 2 more days the blue is off, I'm going to try to take the grey off but for now I think I'll used it for sanding. There's a few aspects of the car I want to change. And that will kick off this build.
  19. This is the rebuild of my oldest surviving model kit and is my second entry to the Cannonball Run cpb. I built it when I was 12 or 13 so it's about 10 years old. My plans for it this time around are to build it up like something from the Fast and Furious movies. It will have the suspension and power plant from a Viper thus the snake part of the name. Bare bones interior, roll cage, something made for performance, haven't decided on a color yet I got a few ideas but just can't decide. Here's what I'm starting with. And now. . . wait for it . . 20. Nothing to show just a little title change, I came up with a name for it. Mr Sinister. Thanks for looking!
  21. This car is exploding with awesomeness, I hope the world can handle it.
  22. Killer looking cages Kurt and August! Rob, it's a really interesting idea, but the car looks a little short for the tall wing. I had the same idea for my GTX but came to the same conclusion, it wasn't bad, it just didn't work for it.
  23. It's a slick trick, it was also my first time trying it. I was so worried about damaging the chrome, I'm glad it turned out well in the end. Thanks Patrick
  24. Update time, it's not much but any progress is good progress right? So this one's about the back rims, I really liked the street rims the hot rod came with but because they're not deep dish they wouldn't look right on the pro street tires. The only suitable rims I have are from revell's pro street Chevelle, they are flat, bland, and have Chevy bow tie lug nuts. They just wouldn't look right on the hot rod so after some thinking I got the idea to combine the two rims together and turn the street rims into deep dish rims. So after a lot for gentle sanding the shave the pro street rims down with out causing the chrome the flake off and a little sanding to the street rims I glued them together to make custom deep dish rims so it's got matching rims all the around.
