  1. Looks like it rolled right off the set, very nicely done. Beautiful engine bay.
  2. Stunning build Harry, a real show stopper.
  3. Count me in too, not sure what I'm doing yet, still thinking (and yes it's hurting). But I'll definitely show up in something.
  4. And some final pictures of both entries together. Thanks again for looking everyone!
  5. Hi again folks, here's a repost of the '68 Dart I made for the 2014 Cannonball run CBP. It's packing the 426 Cross Ram Hemi, two tone paint, (Chrysler Inferno Red and Gloss Black), and 3D printed rims modeled by myself in Blender 3D and printed via Shapeways. It also marks my very first attempt at Bare Metal Foiling, it's was done with a dull blade (forgot to pick up new lol) so it's probably not the best but I'm happy with it. Got loads more of respect for you guys that do all these chromed classics. I knew it wasn't easy but now I have a far better understanding of just how delicate this process is. Thanks for looking, more pics up shortly!
  6. Thank you for looking everyone!
  7. More pictures inbound
  8. Greetings and Merry Christmas everyone. Here is a tribute I made of the '77 Formula my father once owned. It was given to him this morning completely blowing him away. the W.I.P is over here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=95192 Started out being the new revel Smokey and the Bandit '77 Trans Am. I did everything within my skill level to make it as close to the 1:1 as possible. The most notable features are the rims which were modified by hand from Crager Centerlines from a '57 Nomad and re-chromed with Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome spray can paint. The pin striping is custom, printed on Testors white decal paper. More details are over in the w.i.p. Here is the 1:1. And the end result o the model. More pics to follow!
  9. Very nice work!
  10. He was speechless for a few seconds and his face was priceless, it was like seeing an old friend or family member you thought for sure would never see again. I could tell he was blown away when he saw it, it's currently sitting just below the TV for everyone to see. Thanks again for following along folks, Merry Christmas to you all and see in later in 2015.
  11. Alright folks, here it is, the finished product. More pictures under glass.

  13. It's a '56 Dodge Coronet, I found it on the "great" auction site a few years back. My dad owned one up till 2000-01ish and at one point in it's life it was blue a while like the one in the picture. It's my all time favorite car and I miss it very much it's also a very rare car now (only ever seen 1 other in person in my 24 years of living). When I found this one it reminded me of it and so I use it as the profile pic. Thanks Jonathan! I can see why, they are a beautiful car, the boys at Pontiac did an outstanding job designing them.
