Thanks so much for the comments. The one thing I was able to do was the entire car except for the engine block is painted with acrylic paint. Due to the issues I have with my lungs, I had to find an alternative to enamel and lacquer.

This is the first model I've completed in 50 years. Is it perfect? No. Did I learn from the mistakes I made? Absolutely. So I will take any advice as to how to do better on my next one.
