  1. nice work! Always been a fan of the 34 pickup.
  2. I wish someone would make a kit of that. Nice truck! I have a 73 620 Datsun.
  3. Beautiful model! I've seen pictures of the real one and you captured it down to the last detail. Great job!
  4. This isn't a recent build, but since I'm a new member here I hope it's OK if I post it. It started as an AMT 53 Ford pickup. I scratchbuilt the frame and bed,and modified the front fender and running boards. The front wheels steer and the bed tilts. The wheels and tires I cast in resin. The running gear is the Diamond Reo kit. Everything was weathered ,and there's a lunchbag, clipboard, and thermos on the front seat. Sorry I don't have any in progress pics. I didn't think of it then.
  5. Nice Vette! So you know Greg too? Great guy! I've got some of his resin parts too.
  6. Welcome! I just joined too.
  7. Thanks fatkidd! There's a slight indentation where it mounts. Too bad you can't see so,e of the other stuff I did. The back doors are slightly open, and the floor is rotting away. There's no seat, and the floor pan is rusting through. I sold this a few years ago. Here's the only other pics I can find of it.
  8. Thanks Jeff! If you guys don't mind,I'll post some of my others builds on here. I like to show them off.
  9. Thanks Alan. I've been hanging around the H.A.M.B. for a while,so I got hung up on traditional customs and hot rods.
  10. Hi guys! I finally get to post something on here. This was sadly my only build this year ( I'll try to do better). AMT 50 Ford with mild custom touches. Rear seat removed and replaced with buckets. No super detail. I can't do that. Testor's dark gold paint.
  11. Hmmm, I'm not sure. I've sold several on the bay.
  12. Greetings! I figured I'd better sign up. I've been looking around at all the great builds and wanted to get in on the action. I'm a long time modeler, since 1961 or so. I go through phases when I don't build anything for a long time, and then start up again. You know how it is. I like to scratch build or build straight from the box, whatever I'm in the mood for. Well, enough talk here's a couple of my builds. I hope you like them.
