So here it is... My vision of Snap Tite by revell monogram. This truck is next from my fleet - under my ideas. There are also PE parts especially for W900 from Czech Truck Model. The work with this parts were very good and light I can say. Used colours are - - Chassis - Revell Acrylic - Rest - Gunze C (GX) - Clearcoat - Superclear III from Gunze Than I adedd som tubes, wiring and plumbing. And the chassis is overlenght of course. More details are in Workbench. Decals are from Modeltruckin. So, now enjoy few photos. If will be any questions, please place it.... Pavel

Yes JT I understand. My favourite are old models from DAF (especially 3300 turbo) or all models from Scania.... KW is 95% done. Next will be placed photos of a finished model. Pavel.

JT thanx. I must to tell that very important is using of a photoetched parts...these parts can "to catapult" model very very high. Next is using of realistic decals. I make all track only from my head and from photos. I saw real U.S.truck maybe three times in my life and I'm 36. We have here in Europe only the "boxes" trucks. I can tell that eurotrucks are without soul, it is only workers... But it is my opinion...Pavel.

Here is some short update. Cabin and hood are airbrushed in white, after than I made a front window sealing. Than short polish, because will come a light weathering. Chromed parts are dechromed and I applied Alclad chrom on it. Now it´s time for PE parts. Grill is under construction, so as the marks and signs KW. Ready are raindrops covers on exhauts. Also decals from Modeltruckin are apllied. Pavel.

Here are some photos of next work on chassis. I made some footbridge from some profiles and mesh is from kitchen digestor (aluminium fat filter - Fagor digestor). Than I used some wash and light rust mixture...

Great work on classic. I've also this PE parts for KW and it is awesome. The guys from CTM will "rework" of this KW w900 parts! What I know now the hot new is PE kit for DAF N-series (italeri Cattleman). I will talk with them 30.11.2013 on exhibition in Bratislava. And I would ask them about news. Yeah, that's it... Nothing big. Only I try to use a PE parts kit from Czech Truck Model for KW900. Cab will be white. And I don' t know more....

Thanx boys... So Jesse how on fuel tanks. The first step is make the body of fuel tank - make a barrel from kit. Than I use a speed glue (here we call it split second glue)as a filler. this glue is better than filler because after time don´t falling down... Let it dry and grind till insensibility . Than you can use colour or alclad chrome... After colouring I make a stripes. The first I make stripes from binding black tape (for electrician), width is about 4mm and lenght does matter how big is diameter of fuel tank. this binding tape is sticky but it is necessary to use this speed cement (loctite or so..) on the ends of this tape (between tape and fuel tank I mean. Than I prepared chrome stripes. It is made from a can (red bull, coke or bier...) iuse inner side. You can grind it and polish with micro mesh 3200-12000 till the highest polish. Then I cut (with scissors) a stripes which are only 3 - 3,5 mm widht - narrower than binding tape. Grind the borders (sand paper 400-800). Than I pinning I can say by something round (I use scalpel hilt). It takes round form. than again glue it on the black tape. The conectors for vents are made from round prifiles and ring wires...
