  1. She's very nice and clean Great work Tom.
  2. Some short update.... I worked with PE parts on hubs. It is necessary to use older rims (hubs are bigger there), than I sanded tops down. The color of frame will be probably some shiny yellow. Because must I gave it to the white base (Mr.base white 1000).
  3. Very big success is that your first build is done. Better detailled work will come with time and your skill will be better and better. I think good work and keep on building.
  4. Today´s update. Work on Big Rig´s heart.
  5. Very nice truck. Good work.
  6. Hi all. Here are few photos from preparing of engine and making of new fifth wheel.... and one link for great restoration of this truck: http://www.voorttrans.nl/reviseren-daf-ntt-2800.html
  7. Here are few photos from today´s work. I tried to make some next wiring and plumbing, so as isolation on electric installation. Also I made air hose valve on frame. It´s from some evergreen profiles and resin swivel hose ends (Hobby Design).
  8. Wau, shine like a diamond
  9. I was opened next very interesting box from Italeri. It´s reissue of DAF NTT. This truck is so ugly, that it ´s wonderful. For this kit I´ve got also PE parts from Czech Truck Models. This set contents:- hood grille including neccessary plastic profiles for the grille ribs, both versions of the mudguard covers (with or without lights), cab steps, wheel hubs and painted dashboard and more. It is very useful set of PE parts. I started with chassis - lenght 1 inch (2,6 cm). I used nuts and bolts from Meng - 1,3 mm diameter, better will be max. 1mm (next time) I added some wiring (nylon wire from some Art Deco Shop) - 0,36mm.
  10. It will be very interessant. Try only light weathering on the frame. Some dark wash round the nuts and bolts....and little bit oil stain (good is tamiya weathering set for this work). Yeah, nice colour.
  11. Good work Kevin. My eyes will be on your progress...

  18. Welcome Krysot. Enjoy this forum. I'm glad that one of the best modeller from Czech republic is here. I'll follow your progress.
  19. Yes Kevin, that I mean it's problem of this metal wire. Not flexible.
  20. Kevin, this is very good work. It is good that you try to make some air lines. Good idea. If I can recommend you next time try to use "fishing line" you can buy it in each thickness in Fisherman store. Than apply some filler and primer (I use Dupli color in a can, it is awesome, the primer gray colour make a great surface on each material). And than colour coat... original vents for lines you can buy at KFS.....but I like your way also. Paul.
  21. Arnie that's great idea....this trailer is awesome!
