  1. For me, only windows.... I hate work with it. Mirrors are without problems. Chrome - each chrome part I dechromed and now For each chrome parts I' ll to use only Spaz Stix mirror chrome. I love it. This chrome is much better like alclad chrome. But I must order it only by evilbay. Fuel tanks are better make in color or try Spaz Stix. I hate the scar on fuel tanks. Better way for me is dechromed than glued together and use a putty.
  2. So, here´s my last kits.... I bought this pack of 4 just only for 130 Euros (USD 170), including post. For this kits there is excellent price.

  7. As I promised, here are some photos of my latest work. Heavy duty trailer from revell. Thi kit is known for some mistake. But I think it is very nice piece of build. As a color I used same color as on Daf. Original Daf yellow. PE parts are rear lights (from CTM).
  8. Very nice built JT. Very good work.
  9. I always use gloss black from gsi mr.color GX (lacquer). This sort of colors (GX) is dry till half hour. For example enamel gloss black from revell or humbrol usually dries till next day (24 hours). This quick dry is good against dust. And this GX black is very very gloss. Now I try to use Spaz stix mirror chrome and I this this is better chrome. I can say "more harder chrome". For both you need very good polished black base, without microdust parts. Doesn' t matter that it will be akryl, enamel or lacquer gloss black base. And the right way how to make a good chrome on parts is like wrote Petetrucker07. 30-40 very thin layers applied from 25-30 cm (about 10 inches).
  10. Very nice and clean Rio. Good work.

  14. So guys.. Here´s my latest build. Daf 2800 Ntt as a daycab. It was built after my vision. Chassis is stretched in about 1 inch (2,6 cm). I used set of PE part from Czech Truck Model and some from Detail master. Colour is original shade of Daf yellow. As a clearcoat I decided apply 2K Ivat clearcot (from Italy). I added some weathering and light dust. Now I start work on trailor. Heavy duty from revell will be good... and here it is.
  15. Awesome work. Nice Pete.
  16. Very nice and clean. Awesome color combo. I like it, Tom.
  17. Here is next short update. I started with painting. The base is identic Daf color, clearcoat is 2K IVAT. Yes, i´ve got orange peel, polishing will be necessary.
  18. Oops, I found there on the grille one big mistake. Plastic profiles must be glued from outside (front of grille). Grille than gets "deeper look". Here are correct photos...
