  7. thought some around here might enjoy a look at this. i came up with my own rusting technique, i filed on an old piece of cast iron until i had a nice pile if filings. then a very lite coat of dull-kote was brushed on and the iron sprinkled on that. put it outside for a few days of rain and there ya go. enjoy

  14. couple more pix of the Z...interior done except for all the cannonball "gimmicks" chassis finished and the motor just needs paint on the trans and a few details after it's installed enjoy

  19. great progress everyone is making i've finally gotten started on my 79 z28. right off the bat, i don't like how room there is between the motor and firewall so we did a little cutting and reattachment of mounts to solve the problem we'll be using the blown engine option but it WILL be contained beneath the hood. did considerable sanding/filing to; the bottom and top of the intake, top and bottom of the blower and the bottom of the carbs to get everything tucked down in as far as possible before starting on the hood wanted the hood to appear as stock appearing as possible enjoy
