    i have used a good quality masking tape cut to the desired width/shape with good results. i use an old table top from a glass top end table that i clean and polish really well, then lay the tape down and cut with a straight edge and hobby knife.

    fyi...in 1/25 scale one inch=1mm actual...craft (or popsicle)sticks scale out to a 2x10x8 once you cut off the rounded ends(check the craft section at walmart for other sizes) and lastly, get yourself that measures in scale.
