  1. Man all the work you put into that monster looks awesome. I can't wait to see it in final color. Great work on the cage and that engine is sweet too.
  2. Lots of tricky work thus far but it all looks great. You do fine work. Keep it up.
  3. Those are some very good looking colors together. I really like the way this is turning out. I might have to buy one of these kits, even tho I cannot stand convertibles. Your drop top is looking mighty fine there sir.
  4. Spoken like a seasoned builder. Oh wait this build has seasoned you. Man I am impressed thru and thru. When I was 14 I had nowhere near the amount of patience you have. I would have either put the model away or thrown it at the wall afte that paint mishap on the first body. I will say that your Cuda is beautiful. I jut found this WIP build myself, about an hour ago, sat here in the drivers seat of my 18 wheeler in Phoenix AZ waiting to offload and read every single post. You have a lot of fans brother. For being as young as you are with all the inspiration you have, dads car(s), you got it buddy. You build very nicely. I have picked up a few tips and tricks from you too. A.K.A. Coke cans for alt brackets. Come on now why haven't I thought of that in the past? Lol. Anyway my friend OUTSTANDING job and definitely keep up the awesome work. I too cannot wait to see the finished product. BTW I would have liked to have seen those white billboards on this car to, but the stars did not align for that gem. Oh well. That's my piece now it's time to go deliver this load so I can go gets me another one. Lol.
  5. Golly Agent G you are a regular Mustang fanatic. What with your NHP and MHP Mustangs and soon CHP as well. Looking good friend. Looking real good.
  6. Very nice. I do know that NHP and CHP were the pioneers of rear facing radar. That comes in handy especially for NHP seeing as how they are one of only a couple of states that are allowed to hide while shooting tailpipes. I don't know what the other state(s) are but I know there is more than one. All those tedious little wires on the dash turned out great. Looking good so far sir.
  7. When I lived in Cali I loved seeing those ever so rare CHP notchbacks. Some seriously b.a. Equipment. I will say that your NHP notchback looks most cool. I have only seen a few of those in person and those too are some awesome machines. Nice work so far sir.
  8. I use whatever I can get my hands on. Being an OTR truck driver my resources are very limited. I have been hounding my wife, who rides with me on a daily basis, to get me a caliper but she isn't hearin it. Lol. But yea I use whatever is available and it jut so happens that I have an old iPhone charger to use for wiring. Woohoo. Or in the words of that camel on the insurance commercial, "What What".
  9. Agent G, do you have plans to build a CHP mustang as well? I know they used those beautiful little notchbacks as well in the 90's and early 2000's. that would be a sweet little addition to your HP collection. That is if you haven't already built one.
  10. If you have Ann iPhone or other smartphone that has an old worn out charger you don't use anymore there are a set of four different colored wires inside those chargers. I pulled apart an old iPhone charger the other day, took me roughly 30 minutes, but I found a green, red, white and black wire inside. Imagine my surprise. Lol and my wife told me to throw it away and not to use it for model stuff. Lol that'll never happen.
  11. Ah yes the good ole bay window bus. I love those old VWs. Those are very cool.
  12. Oh wow. That is a very nice build. You did some killer, (pardon the pun), work on that cop car.
  13. Al's hobby shop 121 N Addison ave Elmhurst, IL. Mon-Fri 10am-8pm Sat 9am-5:30pm Closed Sunday Alshobbyshop.com This place has a huge selection of R.C. And train stuffs. They have a separate room for plastics with a display case for builders to showoff their work. They had two discontinued kits. Had being the key word. I bought the el camino. They also have a section for 30% off kits and very healthy selection of kits. From planes to boats to cars and military. They even have gundham(?). No idea what that is. A huge selection of paint and tools galour. The gentleman that helped me was great and very helpful. Nice place and nice staff.
  14. Looks to me like your starting your own fleet. You should build a truck stop diorama or better yet a yard/terminal diorama for those beautiful rigs. My favorite rig there is the COE. I love cabovers. Awesome work on your fleet driver. Keep it between the lines and the shiny side up.
  15. That's sweet. My wife and I love those Gremlins. They are ugly as sin but there's just something about them. Great job on this one.
  16. Currently sitting in front of a customers shop in Indianapolis. Tonight I will be in DeWitt IA and Wednesday I will be in Corsicana TX. I love traveling as much as I do. I consider my job as a paid tourist asked to drive loads all over the country. Anyway, I will see y'all again Indiana.
  17. Later tonight I will be in DeWitt. Am I still eligible?
  18. This build reminds me of my first truck. It was a 1977 Ford F100 step side with a 302 c.i.d. and a c4 automatic trans. Great truck. Your build is a beautiful rendition of a timeless classic truck. I love those Ford years. American truck makers have a nice trend going. One decade Chevy has good trucks when Ford and Dodge does not then the next decade it's Ford then again the decade after that its Dodge. Ford had it nailed down in the 70's. Chevy had a good truck in the first half of the 70's as well, but IMO they fell short when they changed the body style in the mid 70's to that squarish body. Ok that's my .02 cents and opinion. Great job on this model. I like the color.
  19. Sweet truck Empi. Did you scratch the bed or kitbash it? I dig the color.
  20. Anyone on here from Fort Worth area? When I'm home I'm in the Mid Cities area. North Richland Hills to be exact.
  21. Every now and then I'm in Laurinburg NC. My trucking company has a terminal there so I get by there every now and again. Anyone know where or what Pilkington is?
  22. I really like the "patina" look. This is a very nice build all the way around. Fine job.
  23. Not as hard as you'd think. I don't get a lot of time and my space is very limited, unless we get a hotel room for a night. But I love building models so much that I finally talked my wife into letting me build in the truck. I assured her she wouldn't suffer from any intoxicating fumes. Lol. It's a lot of fun actually. Only draw back is I can't get my airbrush out of storage. It would be sweet with the air brakes and tanks and lines and all that from the truck, but there's just nowhere to set it up.
  24. Awesome job so far. Nice work on the shine.
  25. Agreed more and bigger pics of the pink bug eng.
