I don't think moisture is the issue with chrome pieces. The one I built early this year had the same issue. Maybe Revell did a bad job on chroming a few of them. Looking forward to your build.

Any one else having issues posting pictures today?! I've made sure to use compatibility mode and dumb thing still wont work right. Technology is great when it works but is awfully frustrating when it doesn't.

Sorry post is screwy but this forum wont even let me edit for some reason!!!! I've gone in to compatibility mode and still nothing! Maybe tomorrow.

Have gotten started on Road Runner. This is the real car I'm using as "inspiration".. Car is called the Hammer. I have seen two versions of this car. One that has a blown 440 and one with a normally aspirated Hemi. One that has a black Hemi hockey stick on rear quarters and one without. I'm using the newer release Monogram kit. Kit comes with a 440, but I picked up a hemi for it. Still trying to make it look "right". Appears to be a amalgamation from several kits; even has the DOHC heads. I sanded down the mold lines on the rear quarters and closed off the hood scoop. Will be using a set of Pegasus Vantage wheels so I removed the stubs from front and rear axles. May have to remove some material from mounting point of wheel to get under the fenders. Body in primer. Not sure if you can tell from picture but I will need to use more gap filler on two small parts around scoop plate on hood. Painted Duplicolor Honda Galaxy Gray. Four coats and polished with pads up to 8k

Got a few more things from eBay. Got the Ford GT because my son says he wants to build one. Had one in the stash, but I want to build it. The GTO came with the GT. The Accord and Monza are open but sealed inside. Got the bag of blower parts which should last forever since I don't do that many hot rods. One set of wheels is for my Hammer build and the other for the stash. Last but least what I think was a steal. Have seen these F150 kits every time I was in Ollie's but never got one because all the boxes where rough and open. Well, I decided to take a look inside, and all appears to be sealed in plastic. So what I though was going to be a $7.99 model turned out to be a $4.99 model! Merry Xmas to me.
