Got the first coat of clear on this morning since it stopped raining...

Man it feels so good to be back at the bench again... Since December I had to put most of my stuff in storage in Michigan... Moved to Florida and a couple months ago, we had to move to Tennesssee to take care of my dad... I haven't been able to build for close to five months... Five long months without a kit in my face... I've had to make two different trips to two different states to get my stuff... Most all my kits were in storage , and my supplies were in Florida... So now I've got my supplies and all my stuff from storage... I've spent five months playing video games and for a while I was depressed everytime I saw a hobbyshop in my area... Knowing I couldn't build at the time ... So I must say, I'm very happy to be back at cutting up plastic...

Got some flocking done... And the spare tire for it... I'm not sure I'm diggin the paint, but I'm gonna keep it...

Got it in some paint... Duplicolor platinum base, emerald green fogged with inca gold...

I had an 87 Jetta as well once... Gold and the interior was red crushed velvet or velour lowrider style bought it from a guy years ago... I owned it for close to a month before getting rid of it... I had an 83 Rabbit that I loved driving... I miss that car the most, this was back in the mid 90s and I had chrome day glo wipers and chrome reversed hammers...
