  1. I agree, I want it alot lower in front but the oil pan and chassis are already pretty much sitting on the ground. To get any lower I would have to sand alot of it away. Again, before I started I knew it wasnt going to be a 100% match, but I wanted to get as close as possible, without pulling too many hairs out. lol

Not a fan of white, but this works... Awesome job!
  3. Not the best pic, and still have a bit to go along with some better lighting and polish, but I just wanted to check the stance. And that BMF was a challenge, but for my first time I am pretty impressed with the outcome. How's she lookin?
  4. Waiting on wheels, and going to try my hand at ignition wires and BMF for the first time, once it all gets here in the mail.
  5. Reminds me of the White '93 (ex-Highway Patrol) my mother had, it was supposed to go to me when she got more of a "Grandmother's Car" when I turned 18, until my stepfather sold it. I was so angry I didnt speak to him for months, now that I'm older I realize he most likely saved my life! lol
  6. That hood gives me goose bumps!
  7. Wow! I love the detail.
  8. This is my first attempt to recreate a model from an actual car, so it wont be 100% exact, but I really dig the 1:1 that I wanted it atleast in my scale collection. The interior on the 1:1 is not stock, and I've never really used putty on a serious level, so no drastic changes there. I guess I'm going more for the stance and paint overall.
  9. I didn't know what to expect clicking on the thread. That Paint blew me away. Beautiful!
  10. I had to paint them by hand, not quite the way I wanted them, but still acceptable. And thanks to everyone for the nice comments, I've been bitten by the bug again. When I finish a build and don't have another on the bench, I don't know what to do with myself. Lol

  12. Thanks, I'd have to take an interior shot later, the ones I took did not turn out great. Thank you. Its just a simple Testors Gloss Yellow.

  18. Hey guys, the names Tony. I just created an account about 1 week ago, and have just been combing the fourms soaking up as much info as possible. I've recently decided to get back into the hobby. I'd say its been about 15 years since. Back in my teens living in Southern California I was more into the lowriders, and my cousin and I would spend countless hours in the garage modding lowered suspension, trying custon paint jobs/decals, and we would even have hopper contest. I've obviously grown lot since then and have expanded my taste in autos since moving to the Midwest. Although I still enjoy the lowered look with white walls, I'm not so strict on wire wheels as much. In the last 3 weeks I have completed a 66 Chevelle (was my rust remover back into the hobby so its not so great) but in the building process I was having all the memories and ideas coming back to me. I am currently working on a two-tone 56 Ford F-100, and Stacy David's 32 Rat Rod, And I have a 40 Ford Sedan Delivery on the way. I hope to expand my skills and meet interesting hobbiest alike while I'm here, and I look forward to meeting new friends.
