  1. Strip clubs? I was trying to keep it family oriented... WOW! And I thought I got a bad case of home sickness! I've been to Chicago (or as Kelly Bundy say's: Chick-a-go), I had fun there. I went to the Museum Of Natural History, and walked around for 5 hours inside... Enjoyed every minute!
  2. I thought the same thing; religion and politics. I don't want to see MCM turned into another SA(i.e. somebody getting their boat model post deleted because "it's not a car")... I posted this because I thought people would like to see some history. I didn't see anything offensive, political, religious, nor argumentative about it. I do apologize if someone does find it offensive, but I fail to see how. On another note, the apartment is not in the middle of nowhere. I-44 is 1/4 mile south of it, Oklahoma is 2 miles west of it, as is Kansas, Arkansas is 40 miles south of it. And Joplin is a growing city, with 2 Super Wal-Marts, 2 local hobby shops, a Michaels, a 100 store mall and a Hobby Lobby all within 10 minutes drive of the apartment . There are casinos within 20 miles, and Tulsa is about 50 miles away down I-44.
  3. I just got this off Evilbay... It fits the requirements. Let me know when you're ready to start this build.
  4. Anybody wanna buy a hideout for a 1/4 million? http://cgi.ebay.com/Bonnie-and-Clyde-hideo...=item41499fabad
  5. Still working on it, and I've got a lot more puttying to do on it, but here's what's been done so far. I've got the back panel puttied, I just nee to add a little more to it, and fine sand it and it'll be ready to primer... The front end is gonna need a whole lot more work! I've got to add more putty to it and sand it out. I started re-scribing the lines on the front... Hopefully I'll have the front smoothed out soon. I've started building the engine and the frame, using the MPC '68 corvette kit I got off of Evilbay... More coming soon!
  6. That sounds cool... Count me in!
  7. YIKES!!! Looks good Cap'n! Just don't let either of them get their teeth near ya!
  8. Looks great dude! You are doing some nice work with your kits!
  9. Don't worry Brad... I do that at least once or twice a year... And always at work!
  10. Wow... 10/14/2003?!? This is officially the oldest topic on the forum! It's even older than the forum! All kidding aside, it looks really good! Keep up the great work!
  11. I hadn't heard from you in a while... Thought you were on hiatus. The only difference with the way I'm doing it is that I'm making it a ZL-1 engine with a 3 carb set-up... Thanks Ismael!
  12. Naw... But I have a better I-dear... I'm gonna make it a ZL-1 all aluminum 427-6 barrel. I thought that might be cool to do, since it was in that time frame that they came out with that engine. Other than that, I'm gonna build it stock. Thanks though!
  13. I added some 2 part Evercoat polyester putty to the front and the rear of the body. I just have to wait for it to dry and then blend in the body parts... Meanwhile, I've primed the frame, and will paint it black. I've also begun work on the engine. Since I have no idea what the intake combination was on the Astrovette, I'm gonna add the 6 barrel intake on it. More up dates later...
  14. Finally got the MPC 1968 427 Corvette kit, so the build is back on track! I'll have an update soon!
  15. I'm BLIND!!! Awesome work Ismael! You did a great job polishing that out!
  16. Thanks Lyn! They've got quite a few things I'd like to get.
  17. No... They have video of others like Roland Leong, Ed "The Ace" McCulloch, Joe Pisano, Sush Matsubara, and a few others, but no transporters...
  18. That looks great! They re-issued that kit as the Cop Out didn't they? Does anybody make the "Snake"/"Mongoose" decals for that kit?
  19. Jimmy Flintstone is getting the same way. They have pics of some of their merchandise, but it seems like anything new they come out with is not photographed...
  20. Very sad to hear... My prayers and thoughts to Bud and his family.
  21. Thanks Dave. My LHS carries mostly "HO" stuff, and very little "G" scale.
  22. Thanks Brian, but I want to be lazy. Plus I don't have any way to make labels for them. I appreciate your suggestion though! That's perfect Mike. Thanks! I appreciate your finding those for me!
  23. 1/24th scale liquor bottles? I need some for a project I'll be working on soon...
  24. I feel in all fairness that each person have a say in what we believe in. If a person doesn't like it, they don't have to join in. If everyone can keep it clean that is. There are some people who go to any length to upset the apple cart, and make other peoples opinions sound atrocious. That would be the only problem I foresee...
