  1. I know what you mean!!! I'll be watching for it!
  2. the work you're doing looks great! All I can say is HURRY UP AIRBRUSH!!! I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of paint job you plan for it. I'm still working on the bodywork on my 1/20th van... Keep up the good work!
  3. That was different... One small accident though and it goes from a hardtop to a convertible.
  4. Naw... His crop of asparagus didn't sell this year, so he's using the truck for his "other" business... Moonshine!!! I'm calling this the "Midnight Grain Hauler!"
  5. Got the body painted black today... I've started the interior. I'm gonna make it red. Hope you like.
  6. I got the frame and the engine closer to being finished. Here's the pics... The frame... Frame and engine... The truck mocked up...
  7. I understand it as being a full size truck that was once used on a farm, and that now is retired, or still being used as a farm truck. In the picture you have above, that could've been a farm truck at one time, and then the farmers son used the truck to haul his racer...
  8. This was delivered to me this morning...
  9. I caught a head cold so I probably won't be doing any work on the truck for a few days. Hope you find the cord to your camera soon Jake, I'd like to see how it's coming along.
  10. I met Eric here in Joplin when he came down for the contest last year. Please send him my condolences.
  11. MAN!!! I didn't see that one coming! I didn't even know Revell was going to produce A 1/8th scale tub... I thought it was a 1/24th when I first looked at it. Then I read George's post, and had to look at it again! COOLNESS!!!
  12. Looking great JB! It's coming together nicely, and I'm looking forward to seeing it done!
  13. Here's what showed up today... Factory sealed 1967 original issue Boot Hill Express
  14. Ya forgot "Rock 'N' Roll" Ed!
  15. Sorry... Do ya want me to slow down? The story behind the truck will take some time to write... On to today's update then... I got the fenders and grill shell painted and gloss coated. I decided to paint it black, using DupliColor T-100 Universal Black... I've finished the bodywork on the cab, and got it primed... This is the custom grill that came with the kit that I'm gonna use... Still gotta a lot of work to do on the truck.
  16. You can buy it direct... http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/dual-drive-tractor
  17. Looking forward to seeing them!
  18. Heck, I'd be pinching myself if I found good paints at .10 cents a bottle! You definitely got a great find!
  19. I still have a lot of work to do on it. I need to fill in the top where the chop was done, assemble the rear suspension, build the interior... So on and so forth.
  20. That looks great! I like the top chop! Looking forward to seeing more!
  21. That's BAD! Bill, love your new avatar!!!
  22. Got the wood bed stained dark walnut also tonight...
  23. This kit didn't have Ardun heads, and I don't have a set... I wanted to put just a regular flathead in it with some speed parts. Never built a model with a flathead in it before. It's a new experience. Thanks for the suggestion though Dan!
